Hi, I was just wondering what kind of armor I should be looking for at level 20. I know pretty much every class has a crafted armor set they usually try to obtain. What should a bruiser try and get?<div></div>

<div></div>rare crafted if you can afford.if not although the aq's look like crap they better than handcrafted.

<div>Afford has nothing to do with it anymore. :p</div><div> </div><div>Just go out and harvest a couple times and youll have more rares you can shake stick at.</div><div> </div><div>I went out for 3 days (few hours each day) and got enough rares to adept3 all my 20-30 arts and full rare armor and weapons.</div>

Dont think I want to harvest all my play time.. lol.. Grats with your luck though <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></span></div>

<div></div>Low level rares are dirt cheap anyways now days. Hell I bought T5 Rare Pelts on Unrest for 2gp each. (5 of them) LoL.

<div></div><blockquote><hr>Colossaltitan wrote:<div></div>rare crafted if you can afford.if not although the aq's look like crap they better than handcrafted.<hr></blockquote>the armor set that bruisers get are indeed really crappy... they gave monks actual Gis and made the bruisers look like a crafting npc. the stats were better then the handcrafted stuff, but not too much better from what i remember. your time would probably be better spend either grinding and using the cash to buy rare pelts or just leveling past that tier and buying armor then since it was said to be cheaper for t4 then t3 O.o

So I should try for the Pristine Tailored Boiled equipment or something else? I am new to this game so little confused as to what you guys are talking about. Are you talking about collecting the rare materials needed in order to make the items?<div></div>

<div></div><p>Ummm Convict........sit down here and let me talk to ye. /points to stool.</p><p>"ewww gross...u sat in stool....I meant the chair next to it!"</p><p>OK...I just completed the AQ's this week for the armor...it aint that bad at all....not that it would be as good as thr rare(which you need to go to NEK or TS to harvest those pelts). But I learned alot doing the quest....gained insane xp....went from 20 to 27 in the week...and had a blast teamin up with new people to accomplish these missions. And ofc they are free. You will not be in your 20's all that long so if you are short on cash, the AQ stuff is just fine. Save up for your 30's armor. But anyway...I got to see parts of Freeport that I never would have seen had it not been for the AQ's and I felt a sense of accomplishment. Now I have a full suit of armor, met alot of nice folks, got to see and kill many cool mobs, and i will be 30 soon and wasted no money. Instead...spend your money on good food and drink and weapons and app4/Adept1 CA's. Either way...weather you buy rare armor or you do the AQ's, it's a no lose situation...but I wanted you to get a "pro" side to the AQ armor debate...I love it and the stas really boost me up alot.</p><p>Good luck...</p>

<font color="#3399ff"><font size="3"><font face="Century">Speaking from my Monk point of view I never did any of the aq's was so busy just flew by them - well not truebut I knew that if I continued in my current form I would not have the armour very long & it would be more important ( for me at that stage ) to forgoe the aq's & continue on my way. I was in Zek in no time I do , however plan to do the aq's for my bruiser the XP & knowledge of playing bruiser instead of Monk will be a great bonus. Don't want to get mixed up now do we ?</font></font></font>
