If so, why can't we see Mit and Avoid? What is "Defense"? Plus, why don't weapons list their DR? Before I suggest this to another forum, am I correct in that it's an SOE site? <div></div>

Back when the game launched, mitigation and avoidance were all clumped into one stat on the character sheet - that is the 'defense' you see. Weapon damage ratings went in way later as well. I don't think the basic format of eq2players has been touched since launch, so it still has the character sheet stats listed as they were back then. I'd be a bit agitated about this if I were one of the people who paid for the additional web-based services.

Well, being a huge fan of Magelo, I am paying. I liked seeing the upgrades, changes to my stats, etc. But I am noticing that EQ2 is a lot less "neat" than EQ1. I could spend hours (okay, minutes really) looking at Swiftwind/Earthcaller and then my Stonewood bow or FT items or full ToV gear etc. EQ2 Players seems very generic and vanilla, especially since it doesn't show what I need. Really, I wanted to see and compare what full T6 did. Or when I clcik on other chars, what DR their weapons are so I can have some goals, ya know? <div></div>

the EQ2Players item site is crap. Does that give you a hint to the answer of the question? Finnster <div></div>

I was paying the extra for the EQ2players but found it wasn't worth it. It doesn't tell you where it drops, who drops it, etc... I haven't found a DB yet that I liked. Both Ogaming and Alahkazam are both severely lacking in their data. Almost everything I look up is not found in their DB's.

<DIV>Have you tried EQ2 Item Database. It can parse your log file for any item you have seen, stores them in a searchable db that also inclused all the items uploaded from other users. The more people who use it and upload it, the more items it will contain. It gets its data from the EQ internal item database (or some such) so if items are upgraded or nerfed, it will be reflected in the image it shows of the items.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It is also searchable offline and allows cut and paste of links into EQ 2 without having the item. Excellent for tradeskillers that get asked what the stats of such and such an item is before someone will order it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>No I don't have anything to do with the product but believe in supporting people making an effort to give us useful utilities. Best of all its free, regularly updated and very user friendly. Give it a try.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://www.eq2idb.com" target=_blank><FONT color=#ffff00>http://www.eq2idb.com</FONT></A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sark.</DIV>
