I use a N52 Nostromo. Started using it in Eq1. I dont get fancy on the set up I use regular as combat. I use one to save on carpal tunnel.

I have a macro for pulling message tied to a ranged attack. for crafting I reset the hot bar to match the keys for combat bar and a UI with BIG reaction icons so i can watch TV over the top of Monitor and still craft. I was a Bard in EQ1 so my Carpal tunnel was almost to surgery stage but since eq2 I need the N52 as much any more. I turn it off and everything else if the game is lagging bad.

I think it would be wrong to program the Nostromo for a combat cycle...yes you COULD program it to walk though a entire encounter for a brawler type on a blue or Green mobs as Combat starts and ends so quick for Brawlers. Wouldnt Help a healer or Plate class Tank. The Nostromo is a grey area in how you use it could be against the EULA. Normal use no problem but if you set auto attacks and combat cycle macros and go afk for the nite you would be botting.

We have enought problems with the Plat farmers and 6 boxers and I would report some one if i saw them using a Nostromo for it and I can tell in minute if one was being used and could make log to prove. Its a wonderful controller but like easy to abuse. saved me lots of medical bills.

Anyone else use one I padded the palm grip with felt. you know a one of those gel pads they put in bras would be better if you dremel down the plam grip? I was told not to else I would wake up shaved bald.

First i set my hotbars up so they are 4 across and 3 down. That way it matches the left 12 buttons of the n52. then the 2 left over buttons are shift and a map button. control pad moves toon. Scroll wheel cycles targets up and down while pushing the button in targets self. the thumb buttons are used for alt+ctrl. With that setup and a 5 button mouse i never need to use the keyboard except to type. which i tend not to do unless i need to. Using a mic and teamspeak cuts out the use of a keybaord all together.
