<DIV>Well that is the way it should have been to begine with.  DW should have always been much better then 2h weapons...they finally got it right.  Hurray!  Only took a year.</DIV>

<DIV>Indeed DW is good now... but unfortunately this will probably lead to a nerf of some kind, either in DPS or tanking ability. Oh and no, i'm not a bitter plate tank, I play a 50+ bruiser.. but I can already foresee the drama from this change which puts brawlers even further ahead in DPS, while berserkers had theirs reduced again in this update. also some DPS classes are already complaining that brawlers can tank & do high DPS at the same time now with the doubled proc rate & increased auto-attack dmg.</DIV>

<DIV>I thought the point of this upgrade was to bring DW in line with 2H, not to increase brawler DPS considerably.... In T5 (for example) everyone wanted RGF, now perhaps some of the dual wield weapons will be 'viable' alternatives.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If SOE find that they have overbalanced dual wield, and now in comparison two handed 'sucks' then it would seem likely that they will tweak dual wield back down until they have a happy balance.</DIV>

<P>Well last time i checked guardians and berserkers can dual wield as well and have alot more options in weaponry doing this (zerks/guards can use ALL dual wield weaps xept fist weaps) so i cant see why brawlers should fear a nerf coming out of this, if a nerf is coming because of dw then guards , zerks are gonna feel that as well.</P> <P>Skull 60 Bruiser</P> <P>Chaos 60 Brigand</P>

Scouts still do more damage, plate wearers still tank better.  Zerker dps was lowered, but their autoattack damage and proc rates were also improved, so theyre still where they were pre "nerf".  Let's feel sorry for Mage DPS, because in most quest/group instance groups, the casters don't even get a chance to attack.

I hear ya on casters and thier dmg. Was in a pickup group other night, the wiz was afk half the time cause he honestly was only casting maybe 1-2 times a fight. Think he sorta felt useless that night cause the two scouts was killing things so fast along with myself that he couldn't get his dps even above mine. Also had a mage get really mad at me other day. Same situation: Mage, scout, scout, Bruiser, healer, coerser was the group makeup. Both scouts was rangers lvl54, coerser was 52, inquis was 52 myself was 51, and mage was 55. In Clefts doing epic room, the mage was running a parser, and was doing maybe half the dmg of myself, and the scouts was 1-2k higher then me with arrow dmg and traps. Talk about easy pickings too, the scouts at times could almost tear the groups apart without the help of the rest of us hehe, was sad, and yet the mage still said wasn't fair i was out damaging him. Honestly I think caster spells should be redon to inclued dmg in groups and outside groups. SOlo dmg should be higher with slower recharge, while in groups should be a lower dmg with faster recharge, effectively doing same thing as solo over all but less hate per blast.  I do feel for them, Its very hard for them in dps in some groups, specially if that group has 1+ rangers. Man rangers can pack out dps fast in the 52+ game. <div></div>
