i doubt it quarrel is a set % increased buff the patch notes say they only increased the proc rate of Dual wield wpns.

Well, seeing as weapons determine how often you proc, I suppose the proc will change. You kinda "apply" brawl to the weapon. But I can't be sure, haven't tested it.

<DIV>The dual weild wep update will be great.  Besides, i like the DW animations versus slow 2h great maces or RGFs</DIV>

Auto-attack was #1. This was with a 2H (RGF, exp grinding vs giants in PoF). With duel-wield (2x imbued cobalt knuckles) which naturally proces less then a slow two-hander it was a completly different result except for the fact that the Assassins Apply Poison was still the 2nd most damaging attack, but other procs was far down the line.</span><div></div>

<DIV>combine the proc rate update with the 20% increased damage on DW weps, i dont think ill ever use my 2h weps again.   Unless mob riposte rates would still be higher while using DW for tanking.</DIV>

Personally I don't like to use a two hander even when tanking. I either go bare fists, or dual wield my fabled knuckles. A bruiser has no business using a mace anyway, he's supposed to use his bare hands to tear things apart. <div></div>

<DIV>Theres also a whole assortment of wooden staves.  I dont see a plate tank weilding a wooden staff, but i can see a brawler doing it.</DIV>

<DIV>Yep cant wait for this update, Its going to be nice. Now to convince Lockjaw to drop Voracious Fists... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also I havent put any effort into getting Transgression after the drop nerf(although that was understandable and expected). Do you guys think it will actually be worth getting over just using a t6 rare staff/fist etc with a proc after the proc changes?</DIV>

<P>Does anyone have specific numbers on the new proc % chance on dual wield weapons or has anyone on Test done parses with an imbued legendary 2h and 2 imbued legendary DW weapons?  Did a dev post the formula yet?</P> <P>This is important to know because a lot of our damage comes from procs.  Even with the 20% increase in damage for DW, if the proc rate isn't significantly improved, we'd lose a lot of damage from Quarrel and Magmatic Fists.</P>

<DIV>Now I'm just confused on what weps to make for my Bruiser. Will still have one cestus, one csti, but I prefer crushing DW's (was gonna be 2h till change) except when mob is resistant.  Wha't sthe thought here? Quarter staffs? Fistwraps? Knuckles? With stats all the same and procs improved, would fistwraps with shortest delay be the way to go?</DIV>

<DIV>well, although there technically isnt "any certain way to go", fistwraps might not be the most effective weapon of choice.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>They are 1.4 delay, very fast, which is much more likely to hit haste cap with a troub or illusionist in the group.  I like using my 1.9 delay maces.  I will never see haste cap, and the 1.9 delay is still comparatively quick.</DIV>

Well, while not a method using parsing or raw numbers to form a solid outcome in a semi-controlled condition.... I can say this... I've used many types of weapons, 2h, 1h and dual. Even used fists goofing around some. I can attest to the fact the % of proc rate now compared to before LU16 is alot more, or so it seems.Sometimes before I'd go 1-2 fights without a proc, and now i get atleast one every fight. They also increased the base damage of dual wield weapons. Before patch my legendary Pristine imbued cedar quarter staff's were Ratio of 24.0 now they are like 28.5 ratio . . thats a big jump.  I used to slide through fights with  close outcomes and now I decimate mobs at times and god its sad i think. I went from fun fast paced to very fast slightly less fun fights. Doesn't seem as hard now, unless you come up against a dual wielding mob, then it actually hurts, cause all dual wield went up including mobs. I'll also say this, the dmg increase of Quarel <sp> is applied to normal melee attacks only, and it is working very well. I hit for about 5-10% above the lived max dmg of the weapons i use very often with 205 i believe it is STR. Though I've also noticed, with 270agi self buffed, I seem to have lost a couple % of avoidance so looks to me there was a non-listed decrease in avoidance, not sure was over all or just brawler classes though, cause haven't asked around much. <div></div>

<DIV>All my proc rates seem increased thanks to the DW upgrade.  Aggro is finally achieveable in defensive stance!  Woohoo!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, Stone Deaf is fixed.  If you are finding it not fixed, check your chat logs and analyze what type of damage you were receiving, what level the mob was, what level the spell from the MOB was</DIV>
