<DIV>Soooo I'm sitting at the broker shopping for new gear having dinged 47 and I find some spiderwalk sandals (leather) with 1 more agi and a couple more hp and power (and a lot more mitigation )  than my old Arcane Slaked shoes (cloth).  When I equip them I actually LOSE almost a whole % of avoidance.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So for starters it is obvious that avoidance is dependent on more than just agi</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I then find some 8 agi leather bracers to upgrade over my 0 agi cloth ones and my avoidance goes up by .3% which is less than a 1 agi upgrade in cloth would have been.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am now wondering if I should quit looking at leather and switch over completely to cloth.  LOL but looking at what I am doing for upgrades at this point you can tell what my budget is.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So is avoidance influenced by weight? by armor class? by mitigation?  Anyone know?</DIV>

<DIV>The heavier the armor, the lower the avoidance.<BR>Two things factor into avoidance, Armor Weight, Agility. (I think thats all that gets factored in anyways).<BR></DIV>

<DIV>I think defense and deflection also get factored in, along with armor and agility.</DIV>

Its much much more then just two tings. Armor type: Heavy vs medium vs light vs very light.   The more to the right the higher the avoidance. Armor quality teir: crafted, treasured, legendary, fabled.  They say this isnt a factor, but it can easily be equiped to show otherwise Armor level teir: t4, t5, t6 etc.  T6 fabled vs t5 fabled.  My t6 fabled boots have less agi, same weight, more % avoidance then my t5. same with t5 rare tunic vs t4 rare tunic. Agi: blanket agi adds avoidance. Deflection/defense/parry modifiers: all add avoidance. <div></div>

I've just checked items which are treasured, crafted and legendary from T1 to T6, and cant find any evidence that tier or quality make any difference in avoidance. Perhaps there are some hidden modifiers on the fabled items you have. I cannot comment as I do not possess any fabled items.</P> <P>Armor type definalty makes a difference, as does Agi, defence, deflection and parry.</P>

i have almost 2 full suits of t5 fabled, and i can say fabled vs non fabled makes a difference. I can lose 22 agi on my boots and gain 0.9% avoidance. As for t1 vs t6, ill test again, but i could have sword t5 rare vs t6 rare was an avoidance gain on items without agi increaseseither way, the long story is theres multiple factors for avoidance, and its no where close to clear atm how its calculaed.

<P>only confirmed avoidnace upgrade is item type and skills such as deflect parry defense agi add avodiance.</P> <P>I have a pair of t5 light armour fabeld boots w 24agi and gebs w 0 agi and the gebs (legendary) have the same avodiance gain as the fabeld light armour boots. No point just an observation.</P>
