This class doesn't seem to.<BR>Why?<BR>IMO Its because we have a great role in groups (we can either dps or tank) so we are always seeked, and we can solo well for when their isn't any groups, plus the animations are so cool (espescially with Bo staffs) it never seems to get old.<BR><BR>As far as weapons, PI Bo Staff is an excellent choice, I'd stick with it as you parse in probably best with it in late game and the animations never get dull.<BR><BR>If you have an oversupply of pelts though (after you get your armor and such) Fist Wraps or Cestii's are a cool choice from your local weaponsmith.

<DIV>I to recommend the fist wraps. Also at your level try bare fist as well. See what works for you. I am not sure how the revamp changed things but if memory serves I used bare fists in my early days.</DIV> <DIV>Bordem has not been an issue for me in 53 levels. Solo when I need. Tank when I need and DPS when I can.</DIV> <DIV>Monks - while fun for some players for whatever reason, I like the Bruiser style. Up in the mobs face beating them down while they try to beat you down. Monks are busy trying to avoid everything. A bruiser just says "Gimme your best shot bub."</DIV> <DIV>Ok thats more a play stlye then a good answer. Hope you enjoy yourself.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I play a monk, most of the time, just started a brawler/bruser alt a few days ago, up to lvl 13 so far. At that level it is hard to tell any diffrence in the classes. I started my monk as an alt and quickly became my main character, haven't looked back since. <div></div>

<DIV>If you made it past 28 your past the really slow spots till your early 50s.  Im running a second bruiser up currently and she just hit 20 today, from about 15-25 its pretty slow going.  Thats the way I remember it and so far its holding true to form.  Course it could just be me!</DIV>

Heavens, why two bruisers? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Like the original poster I had an assassin that I stopped at L30 because soloing was just too much of a pain; assassins do great dps in groups, but working in those high damage side/rear attacks in solo encounters is tricky. I prefer my swashie to my assassin because he's more solo friendly. People don't seem to group as much as they used to, and I guess the more people see that the more they go for solo-friendly classes and the grouping gets even less...

Yes dude.... we are fun.  I'm lvl 60 and I can do all kinda of fun stuff.  It's fun to go into silent city and have the replusor sentinels bounce you 300 feet in the air, then you FD and hit the ground SPLAT!   No damage, but it looks painfull.  Safe fall is awesome for other circumstances.... when everyone is climbing down walls and you just Jump and scream Cowabunga!  Sonic fists is kewl.... and if you are really insane you can figure out all kinda of fun stuff to do.
