<DIV>They are our classes (brawlers) defining weapon choice. I think they should be better than any other weapon we can use. They should also be included in the higher end proc of our offensive stances.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Only brawlers that want to be other classes use weapons that other tank classes can use (batons, maces etc)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Flame or agree, I am bored.</DIV>

<DIV>My personal opinion should be that monks get hand to hand bonus and get minus if they use weapons where as bruisers continue to use weapons and cannot fight well with just there hands. That way the two are distinctly different in their fighting style. I see bruisers as the bully who comes at you with a club and beats the crap out of you and the monks are more kung fu style fighting. Bruisers do more damage as weapons should but pay the price in their avoidance. Monks are fast do quick but not as leathal damage as weapons and can avoid hits better. Just my opinion.</DIV>

<DIV>Their aint nothing more bruiserish then a Greatmace. Fistwraps are good, Knuckles are doable. #$(*ing cesti and cestus are definatly not bruiserish. But a Greatmace. Its like a baseball bat. Forget clubs, maces, flails and batons, those are lame. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You gotta get yourself a Greatmace.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And to be honest, Id rather have choices then limitations. I like how it is now.</DIV>
Now i use Two T5 Rare Cestiis but if i see a Mace or hell Even a Weapon like a Royel greatflail I would Take them if there kicking out more DPS then my Fist weps <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<DIV>Bah, its not about what you do, its how you do it. You gotta have style and flair. You have to have a witty retort to every taunt from the mob. Thats what people remember, not what random number is generated from some miscellanious fight. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hey remember when Bob hit that harpy for 271 points of Crushing damage? Yeah that was cool! (<----This is never said)</DIV>

Could I do better? Probably, but it's all about the style you choose. EQ2 isn't terribly exacting if you're fighting 99% of content. I just make sure I keep my Hierophant's Crook and a pair of rare Cestus/Cestii in the pack for when I need to hit an epic mob ;d <div></div>
Hi Jez,Do you have numbers from the higher levels on how much better 2H is?Obviously the RGF would be 'handy', but what other 2H weapons are good? I'm using DW cedar batons and keen to know how much better I can get <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Thanks.

I am currently using 2 imbued fir batons, are you telling me that I would do more damage with a 2h weapon? I have never really looked into using a 2h weapon because I thought DW would always be max damage. What 2h weapon do you think would out damage my current weapons at level 23...so I can look into comparing damage/style? Thanks.

It really depends, if you time your CA's in between a low delay high hitting weapon then yes, You do have more damage potential because your using these high damage skills, then right in-between casts you'll smack the mob with high hit then spam another CA, Where as Dual-Wields you'll hit for 30ish, CA, 30ish, CA, 30ish, CA.

<P>I like using the Ironwood imbued bo staff. Best animations in the game imho. I look so freaking cool using this thing I don't really bother using all my other t6 imbudes. I have two t6 Cestii's, the batons, my prismatic, crook, and my bo... the damage off the bo is still up there amongst the top.. but the fighting animations are completely unique. If you have never seen them or used a bo staff.. really reccomend trying one out.</P> <P>Nothing like smacking the mob in the head then planting your staff in the ground to use it to pole vault your foot into its the mobs face.</P>

Thanks for the info. I will buy a 2h tonight and give it a try. I will of course be losing hp, power, and stats so unless it is a major difference in damage I think I will probably end up back with my 2 imbued fir batons.

Using a 2hander is also better for tanking, You get riposted less because you attack less, less damage taken.<BR><BR>On a side note, I'm level 45 now and my friend got me a PI Ironwood Bo Staff for my birthday (yes yes, we are dorks) but anyways, I can't wait to try it out! LoL

<DIV>Since this could mark a major change in the way I play my bruiser (DWv2H) I will ask a guild mate to make me a imbued fir bo staff. Although I have no clue what the stats are on it I assume this is the best weapon to have made at my level. If you have any other 2h weapons ideas let me know. Thanks</DIV>

I know the stats on the t6 imbued bo are very impressive, but used the crook through my 40's so not sure on the t5 one. The crook animations are not very impressive btw.. but the aeo proc helps us hold agro on multiple mobs at once when tanking.. so I suffered <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
