Are you getting these hits while fully raid-buffed and riposting a fully-debuffed epic mob with RGF or something? cause I never hit anywhere near that high on my bruiser while soloing and I have tons of +str gear.. granted im not using a RGF but with a 2.5 speed 2h wep ive never hit anywhere near 1000 auto-attack, let alone multiple thousands.</DIV>

ok in reply to how you get these hard hits first off you either need dirty punch or to be in the harcleave zone as this will buff your dmg of an auto attack by maybe 3-4 fold. And secondly hit something weaker than yourself

my 8k hit is melee dmg not magic which is what d fist is feel free to check my eq2players.com profile 8,010 melee dmg which im pretty sucre is one of the highest a bruiser has done melee wise

i can self buff my str to about 350 ive hit around 5-6-7 k b4 not sure how myself highest ive grped my str to was almost 600 could have prob gone over if we went all out for str was a good hit tho shocked even me <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<DIV>2368 damage for me using Mace of the Endless Storm.  But this damage is not based on weapon, but DIrty Punch (Master 1).  Dont remember what mob this was on at all, but its decent damage for a PvE hit.  Also have just over 400STR ungrouped.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Most likely the 8K hit was in a PvP environment using dirty punch.  I.E. highest melee hit is what, 87K?  Spoke with this guy and it was vs a lvl 5 character straight off the newbie island.  This also counts as melee hits.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If the 8K hit wasnt on a raid debuffed mob or PvP, then grats, that's an awesome hit.</DIV>
