<DIV>Just curious about what you guys are expecting from future upgrades to our current line of spells, as most of them now seem to be at maximum efficienfy.   Obviously I'm not talking about Direct Damage spells, but more our utility spells, such as Feign Death.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I haven't seen our newest Feign Death at Adept 3 or master 1 yet, but I'm guessing that it's gotta be 100% at master 1, which leaves me wondering what will be the lvl 70 upgraded version?  perhaps a group FD, or a FD that also works in PvP and actually makes yoru name go grey, making you really look dead?    Perhaps it will give you a temporary buff when you do it, or perhaps it coudl activate automatically if you are about to die, like if a mobs attack woudl send you into negative health, it automatically engages, saving your hide.   Just an idea.   I don't want to suggest a group Feign Death... as Monks already get that for an Ancient Spell.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>    What about our Mez line?   It's almost to the point where you can have 0 down time between mezzes.   Soon as timer runs out I can mez again.   I guess an upgrade could be more than 30 seconds.... therefore making me be able to effectively mez more than 1 creature at a time.  that or have it effect epic targets again like it used to!   (Sigh, those were the days mezzing contested mobs with Intimidate Master 1).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>  Also, for brawlers in general I woudl like to see some additional stances, on top of the 3 we have already (Defensive, offensive, and balanced).  Being that most of our damage is crushing, mobs that are crushing immune are going to be a pain in the butt, so how about in an adventure pack, we are given the option to quest from a Martial arts master.   In the end he teaches us a new stance, and say it deals piercing damage with every hit, or a stance that deals slashing damage with each hit.    I can think up plenty of new stances.  A stance that lowers mitigation vs physical damage, but raises focus by 15 points, and has a 10% chance to interrupt with each succseful attack!   Perfect for Vs Casters.  How about a stance that gives 20% haste, and raises in combat movement speed by 40%, basicly allowing you to move with the speed of sprinting during the fight.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>   I'd like to hear some other ideas on what our abilities might be at future upgrades,   and especially new quested stances....  I mean... they woudl probably have to be quested for, so you coudl "Train" in that particular art. </DIV>

Not completly certain about that though. As for the future?I wouldn't mind seeing something similar to what the</span><span> Tera Kasi Artists had in SWG, which was a Meditation line where once mastered they were able to sit down and rapidly cure Noxious based spells/effects affecting them, as well as regenerating lost health. Besides that they had a Power Boost ability that boosted their stats for a brief moment.</span><div></div>

<P>Well, I like the meditation idea.... but rather than get a whole bunch of NEW spells, and have to have 6 hotbars open, Id rather only get a slect few all NEW spells, and rather see upgrades to old ones.   I coudl see a T7 Feign Death, having like a 99% chance to FD, and while you are down you rapidly regain health and power.  THAT woudl rock... do it during raids n stuff.....   </P> <P> </P>

This had also worried me since i been seeing our spell lines. Seems to me many of our spells are basical at thier cap and won't get any real upgrades. Combat arts can always be increased and buffs as well. Specialty spells are very close to  limit. If they dont perfrom another spell revamp they will have to think of addional ways to increase them. Good thing is next expasnion if it raises us an additional 10 lvls don't have have to worry about 57+ spells. Mezz if following the same upgrade will becoem a 26 sec mezz w 30 sec reuse. Feign death wont get upgraded again tilll we are 70+. I would think 96% will be the highest limit they provide (althought the in combat or out of combat power/hp regen is a nice idea). fear will get upgraded at lvl 70 and will just effect higher lvls. Heal will be increased in a small percent. So really its nothign to bad. The 3 new spells if upgraded.  2 of which are combat arts, 1 is a spell blocker can block 4 spells in 20 secs or it can increase duration. what other spells we get that are close to max limit.

I like the idea of a stances with different elemental attributes on them, procs a poison/disease or ice element.  I think Monks will always get the haste buffs.  I would like to see a drunken brawling stance, where our STR / STA and HP go up, but out AGI and INT goes down. Like a Furious Rage. There are many ways the brawler line can be expanded upon, besides just upgarding the same lines every 14 levels.  I love the game mind you, but getting upgrades without new lines, gets rather tiresome, since you know you could upgrade now, but will have a betetr one in 5 levels. <div></div>

<DIV>I like Jez's idea.  Curing nox/arcane/trauma spell effects would be awesome.  Stuff that our self cure wont cure.</DIV>

<P>when i saw the bruiser info on the everquest 2 game manual I thought of a Mike Tyson/ or Tank Abbot(guy from the ultimate fighitng championship)  type of player.  Someon who just punched the crap out of their opponents with sheer power and strength.  To me a Monk sounded alot like bruce lee(dont get me wrong bruce was da man)  and more martial arts type of a player.  i love using knuckles and fist weapons and would personally like to see a cool boxing stance.  </P> <P>Like </P> <P>Dirty Boxing Stance</P> <P>increases crushing/piercing/slashing and attack speed by X</P> <P>has 10% chance to Southpaw - does X amount damage and decreases targets resistance to crushign by X</P> <P>Defensive LIne</P> <P>Rope A Dope-like retaliation just a cooler name</P> <P>as you can tell i'm a boxing fan lol</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>i like the haste idea, i'd rather be able to nearly max out haste self buffed, like a monk, rather than our +18% dps.  However, we seem to do just fine without that buff, so that doesnt really bother me much at all... That seems more like a monkish trait anyways.  Ninja haste and accuracy vs a barfighter powerful blows.  That's just my opinion though.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also like the name of the retalliation upgrade, Retribution.</DIV>
