<DIV>I think the avoidance bonus from agility needs to be improved. 1agi = 0.035% avoidance, and it doesnt give us bonus mana anymore. Monks get about 400 all resistance from their 100 wis buff, that is about 7% mitigation and avoidance vs. all magical attacks. But our +150 agi self buff only gives about 5% avoidance, it's a joke. It needs to be at least 15% avoidance bonus.</DIV>

well ours does give us a ton of Str to up our DMG so i guess thats the trade off cause if they gave us that much of an Avoid bonus then Guards will [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] and cry even more then they do now about our avoid Malfu Permafrost <div></div>

The only difference is they get wis instead of agi, which is much better I think. And I agree that guardians need some love, but I dont think it has anything to do to us. I really hope agi will be more useful. 150 agi for 5% avoidance is ridiculous.<BR>

ahhh i gota ya now i had a mind fart i thought we Shared Agi with the monks and not the Str... it is interesting cause if we did get like 15% avod from it we could probly come real Close to Capping our Avoid which would be nice but maybe if we could get maybe Stamina instead cause that would be nice <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<DIV>They dont need to change the buff. What they need to do is to make agility more useful. 1agi now is about 0.035% avoidance. With capped 420 agi at level 60, it gives 14.7% avoidance more compared to one with zero agi. Agi is just so useless.</DIV>

yeah i understand what your saying but there is an Avoid Cap of 80% and if they give us a bonus with the Agi then people will be Reaching the Cap with that Self buff and a defence stance then Guards will Cry even more... thats all im saying <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

Remember too that small numbers have a magnified affect when you are near the limit (whether there is an artificial cap or not).So if the avoidance limit is 80%, and you've managed to get to 70% avoidance, you'll actually take 50% more hits than someone who is capped, not 10% more (30 hits in 100 as against 20 hits in 100).Might be obvious but easy to overlook when saying "10% doesn't mean much".

Now +1wis is about +4 to all resistance. 4 points of resistance increase 0.066% mitigation to spells at level 60. This is double the effect as agi to physical avoidance. Not to mention moorgard said spell resistance also increase your chance to resist a spell outright. <BR>I think they lowered agi effect because they dont want high agi scouts out tank fighters. So how about double the effect of agi only on fighters? scouts will still want agi because it gives them more mana. <P>I'm 99.9% sure that this is to combat the scouts being uber avoiders like in January.  Most of our stuff is +deflection.  Its kind of weird that you have the agility end of the deal.</P> <P>Buffing parry/deflection is the way to go for avoidance imho.</P>
