<P>Regarding Gi of the Ashen Disciple,</P> <P>I am curious to chase this one down.  I think all the Brawler classes enjoyed wearing the AQ Gi's.  I certainly wouldn't mind looking like a martial artist again instead of Neriak showgirl.</P> <P>I have only been back to the game for three days now so I don't know much about DoF yet.  As I understand it the Ashen Order and Ashen disciples are monk-like and bruiser-like factions respectively.  They are opposing factions and residents of the Pillars of Flames.</P> <P>I imagine it could be a quest reward from an Ashen Disciple quest giver, however the quest rewards I have seen so far are no-trade.  As there was mention of this item being bought from the broker this seems an unlikely possibility.</P> <P>Could it be a drop off an Ashen Disciple?  If that is the case, I imagine there is a similar Gi drop from the Ashen Order mobs.</P> <P>I spent some time there talking to a few quest givers.  Hopefully if we pool our resources we find out more in the near future.</P> <P>-Card</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

<P>Managed to finally get the <STRONG>Woven Rujarkian Gi</STRONG> today.</P> <P>It indeed looks like the Monk AQ6, but as a Bruiser I don't find this as offensive as it looking like the Bruiser AQ6 :smileywink:</P> <P>It has marginally better mitigation than T5 Woven Augmented.  A short guide for getting this beauty....</P> <P>You will need a full group of 6 and if you are not mid 50s I would probably recommend 2 healers or an enchanter.</P> <P>You will need access to Clefts of Rujark level 2.  This is a very easy quest.  Go to the lift and click on it.</P> <P>You will then need to proceed to The Overseer (L52 ^).  Kill him and you will then have access to Level 2.  Make no mistake you must have printed charts of this zone if you dont already know it well.  Whilst Level 1 is a solo/partnering zone, level 2 is full group territory (that's FGT for the uninitiated :smileytongue<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.  At level 2 Clefts of Rujark linked ^^ and solo ^^^ mobs are the standard faire in the level 51-53 range.</P> <P>Once up the lift proceed to the War Room.  You will get to pull a couple of named on the way including the Gatecaller and Blademaster.  Once in the War Room make it your home.  The named in the War Room is your target.   There are lots of chest and items that will drop in this area to keep your group well rewarded.  You are after a mob called (something) the Annihilator.  There are various other named boss mobs that spawn here but you are after the <EM>Brawler class</EM> named boss.</P> <P>The Annihilator has a common and rare drop from what I have seen.  The common is a decent light armour shoulder piece.  The rare is your prize: <STRONG>Woven Rujarkian Gi</STRONG>.  Killed him three times and it dropped on the third.</P> <P>Good luck and good hunting.</P> <P>-Card</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

I just got the first 3 pieces of the bruiser AQ (steel stitched). On a dwarven male there is no graphic for the hands, feet or arm pieces. Is this a bug with the male dwarf model or is steel stitched not suppose to have a graphic?

<div></div> The AQ hides the graphics for feet, hands and 'shoulders'. On the arms you should see the graphics from wrists up to just over the elbow as seen on my screenie below. Thanks Phayax. Unfortunately, Telpacpaw is still wearing teh Scaled....or sometimes Ashen, depending on what i feel like wearing at the time. Iksars don't look the greatest in white.Rhoen just will NOT drop the Gi for us anymore. He dropped it once, and that bruiser quit the game the day after. What a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]in waste. And as for the sunhat, welll....its our christmas break so we probably won't be killing the Queen again for a few weeks. Teh Suke!<div></div>

<div></div>I'd like to see it also, but by the time we probably do actually see one, we'll all be level 70. We've hit Gates so many times now and the drops are primarily Mage only gear for the most part, we usually end up getting some mage only neck piece off the final mob who drops the Gi. Even if it were to drop, our monk would get it first seeing as he has the highest amount of points to bid among the brawlers in our guild and his toon is a male kerra. So my hopes are with the new expansion that we have more brawler specific gear that doesn't suck (i.e. more legendary/fabled pieces that aren't pants) and we'll all be happy bruisers, unlike DoF which is biased towards mages and druids it seems, at least from my raiding experiences. And for god sake enough with the freakin sticks, batons, quarterstaffs for our next prismatic equivalent or even fabled, more non-crushing fist weapons please!

<div>I can see both sides of the argument for player made Gi's.   I think we can have a good compromise.   At some pivotal level, tradeskillers shoudl be given a chance to make an awesome set of gear, whatever their type.  This would require very rare Components, and would consume an awful lot of components, like 3 Star Rubies, 6 pearls, and 6 Vanadium to make one Item.  this Epic level of Crafted Armor would be amazing, and you woudl rarely see anyone with it.  It may be possible to have a Gi as one item a Tailor coudl make under this set of gear, or better yet have it be a brawler only set or armor that has a new graphic.  Not a gi, not a standard druid tunic.  Something all new.  Perhaps Body Wrappings?</div><div> </div><div>  body wrappings woudl give us a martial Arts type look, without being classified as a Gi.  Think of LeeLu in the 5th Element.  That woudl be teh female version, or something similar.  The guy version coudl have chains, or tight black straps covering the flesh in a web-like pattern.  That woudl rock like Iron Maiden.  and Iron Maiden rocks hard.  Give each of these pieces 2 procs each, and make them very nice, like flowing thought 8, and Regeneration 8.   or a 12% chance to cast a higher level Detonation when you are hit, or on attack!</div><div> </div><div> Ok, I'll stop dreaming now.</div>

I seen 2 diffrent Gis with KoS. One is listed on the T7 Legenary thread. The other is a treasured one (can't remember the name). dude said he "thinks" it dropped in sanctum. I know where to get the legendary one if someone know how to get the treasured one that'd be great<div></div>

<div></div>Possibly off of the same mob, but treasured/adept size chest as opposed to legendary.  I've noticed this w/ some mobs in Sanctum. In Legendary they'll drop one thing that is better than the treasured drop; but it will be same slot etc.
