<DIV>Has anyone parsed 2hb versus 1hb damage?  I have played my Bruiser to level 50.  It has always seemed that even if the damage rating was higher on the 1hb, that a comparable 2hb does much more damage to one mob.  For instance, last night, I bought a cheap 2hb bo staff in the bazaar for 9 gold (damage rating=41).  This staff has no proc.  It seems to help me kills mobs faster than the two batons I am using (24 damage rating apiece with a 150 damage proc).  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It would seem that adding up the two batons' damage ratings of 48 would make for more damage output to one mob than my 2hb with a dmg rating of 41.  I am I missing something?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am also going to post this on the monk boards.</DIV>

<DIV>I want to make myself more clear.  I meant 2hb versus the dual wield damage (and not 1hb).  Thanks.</DIV>

<DIV>I would say it really depends on the weapon. I myself only use 2hb anymore, unless I am fighting a crush resistant mob, because I have a RGF (m0g uber). The damage I do with this is about 40% higher then when I use pristine imbued t5 weapons (slashers or blunts), and it's about 28% higher then using bare fists with magmatic fists adept 3. So I really think it depends on the mob, the equiptment, and the buffs placed on you. Whatever weapon you decide to get though, use one that procs. Crushing Fury at adept3 is godly with a decent procing weapon. Soloing, between getting lucky with procs, and getting lucky with Crushing Fury hitting every time, I have done 5k+ damage with just that one attack. That is not the norm of course, but when it happens you will soil yourself <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Rakari 54 gnomer bruiser on guk <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </DIV>
