<DIV>Does anyone really use these mitigation buffs? Bruising Spirit, Strapping Spirit, Deadly Spirit, or heavy scarring?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't the mitigation increase is worth the loss in HPs or the stun. Why not have them be a power drain? And why not have Heavy scarring be a longer buff after the stun? As it is I never have used them. <DIV>The spirit line of buffs are awesome, I make sure to click em on whenever they are up when tanking, the 80 something hp per tick is nothing really, the mitigation bonus is very nice.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Dont use heavy scarring much, although you can taunt while stunned, if you get an add or you lose agro, its a wipe. Might be useful for a raid mob after you have made a lot of agro.</DIV>

Which is laughable as a cost really.<BR>I have it up whenever I can. ~500 more mitigation is nothing to sneeze at.. definately saves me more than the 77hp every 30 seconds.</P> <P>I've used Heavy Scarring a couple times now... our group was getting add after add because people hadn't learned that they need to keep an eye out yet.</P> <P>Since we have a single taunt that works even while stunned, and since everyone was low on power, I could keep aggro and we were able to survive the fight despite the healers being low on power.</P> <P>I can see it having a use when we pull aggro in epic fights and want to survive for a bit. This basically makes it so we don't have to redo our stances.. .just slap on Heavy Scarring, stop fighting for a bit for the MT to get aggro back, and voila.</P>

It's not every 30 seconds, it's every 6 seconds, ie. 1 tick.And the health drain is a percentage of your max health.<div></div>

It says 30 seconds, and I can see it drop only every 30 seconds as well. Where are you getting this "every 6 seconds" from? I know that might have been how it USED to work... but have you looked at it since the revamp went live?</DIV>

It used to be every 6 seconds, But after it was changed to 3 min recast it was also changed into 30sec drain
ya i have adept 1 bruising spirit (31 bruiser) costs 32 health to start and 32 health every 30 secs. It is well worth it when i fight clay guardians in rov. It easilly absorbs that 32 health every 30 secs with the bonus 372 mitigation. Since my mit is 1200ish with buff it matches me up with tank classes mit well over my level.

<DIV>should pretty much change it back to either drain health every 30 secs or make it have less recast time. i actually used it when it didn't drain much health at all and only being able to cast it every 3 mins is a long time to wait. soe made it pretty much useless..</DIV>

<P>Dunno why they can't just have a high hp cost with toggle, so it's not a straight up benefit, rather a way to reduce spiking.</P> <P>As it is, it's an "every second fight" thing (depending on the length of your fights), and only really useful when fighting things you have a hard time mitigating against (ie, high yellow+).</P> <P>It's lost any real use for soloing now.</P>
