What weapons should i use and what way should i use them?

hi guys, im just here to ask what weapons my bruiser should use. i currently use two crafted rods. and they do good damage and have 4agi 6str each (i got it for the better str). i have noticed no one uses such weapons. whats with this? what weapons should i use at level 35? <div></div>

<P>There are 2 basic weapon categories pre-revamp you should be using.  First, is dual wield weapons when in a dps role.  Many use fist weapons here because of our Brawl skill which raises our fist skill by 20.  This makes it easier to hit those yellow, orange, and red con mobs consistently thus raising our overall damage output on those types of mobs.  Second, you want a 2hb weapon for tanking as this reduces the amount of attacks you use in auto attack.  You want to do that so you don't get riposted on as much by those big mean mobs.</P> <P>Personally, as a non raiding, non-rich level 50 bruiser I am using 2 t5 rare imbued fist wraps.  Great weapons that hit really fast.  When I tank I had been using heirophants crook as the 2hb but switched to some other stick I found.  I suppose a rare, imbued crafted 2hb staff would work here as well.</P> <P>At lvl 35, I would probably stay with what you have if they are white to orange con for you.  Find some rare pelts for t5 and get either fist wraps, cesti, or cestus crafted for you.  Pick up a piece of cedar and get a 2hb crafted.  You would be a very respectable bruiser with those 2 weapon choices.  Of course, if you are rich, you could get t4 rare's made for you right now to hold you over till 40  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P> </P>

i solo alot so what should i use? brawl or bouncer? also would having fist weapons (cestii, knuckles, wraps) increase fiery fists rate? <div></div>

<P>Thats a tough call.  Since you probably won't be soloing ^^ orange con mobs I would use your tanking buffs.  For weapons, if the mobs are something like ^^ greens with a lot of hps go with the 2hb.  If they are regular white to orange con no arrow's I would stay with the dual weild.</P> <P>As for fiery fists, I have seen several parses that show that you get the same amount of procs, on average, from fiery fists with either 2hb or dual wield.  When using a 2hb you are hitting slower but have a higher percentage of your hits come with a proc.  Dual wield you swing more times but with a lower percentage proc.  So, from what I've seen it doesn't matter as the game scales accordingly.</P>
