View Full Version : A question for those testing in the combat Changes
Ok, there are a couple things I would like to ask. 1.) How would you say our soloability is with the combat changes. Is it harder than it was? easier? the same? 2.) On our offensive stances (like magmatic fists), are the % of these procs still the same w/out having to being unarmed sence they removed that, or did they decrease the % chance? 3.) I tank a LOT right now with the current combat system, I was wondering if you guys have ever tanked in this current system and if so, how do the changes effect our tanking ability. I happen to love tanking, I get to bored when I'm in a DPS slot, well either that or the current tank is doing very well and I take over anyway <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Just a few question from your neighborhood Weezman (Iconoclast) 49 bruiser. <div></div>

When in offensive stance, I can solo small groups of level 50's (three single/double down arrow mobs).</FONT><BR><BR>2.) The percentages are based off of your weapon delay. For example, a 10% proc rate on a weapon with delay 4 may proc every 5 hits where as a 2 delay weapon may proc every 10 hits. Even though it procs on a less % of the hits, both weapons should proc the same amount over a long fight.</FONT></P><FONT color=#ffff00></FONT> <P><BR>3.) I primarily focus on strength gear, because I like DPS, but I have never once had a problem tanking a non-epic encounter.</FONT></P> <P><FONT color=#ffff00>In the new combat system, I have only tanked 1 experience group (I solo a lot). In this group, the only healer was a level 50 Inquisitor. Even while almost all of his heals were broken, he never had a problem keeping me alive when we had 2-3 heroic encounters on us (but we did have an Illusionist.. though I hear their crowd control abilities are nerfed).</FONT></P> <P></P> <HR> </BLOCKQUOTE><BR> <DIV>Hope this all helps.
