<DIV> <DIV> <DIV>What buffs/skills does your class bring to a raid ?  How do you get used in a raid ?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm compiling a list on eq2raiders.com for each class on what skills/buffs they bring to a raid to make it easier for raid leaders to pick their groups based on the  mobs they are facing.  I'd really like your input.  Give me some details on how raid leaders should best utilise your class in a raid. What skills do you have and what do they do to your group/raid/MT ?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV>Speaking only for myself, I brought seriously competive DPS to the table.  I was usually placed in one of the DPS Groups.  With my Velens Nerfy cry I could boost the attack speed of the Group by 23% and their attack skills also.  I can stun and interrupt.  My weapons cover all 3 damage types so I can never NOT hit the mob.  Utilizing some lower Tier skills I can pack a full line of stuns and interrupts that supposedly work on epics (they still manage to get some AOEs off).  I can self heal so I require less attention than some classes.  My soon to be nerfed intimidate could freeze most epics in their tracks for roughly 10 seconds (even though it says 16 duration) and is usally less cause someone will hit it and cause it to start moving again.    </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also know all the words to the Theme song from Different Strokes.  I dont know why cause I rarely watched the show.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

What redbed said, plus some hearty crush debuffs and quite frankly a decent boost of crushing buffs within the group <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

you're asking this question right before combat revamp? I suggest waiting a few weeks so your work isn't completely useless in a month. Finnster <div></div>

heh the biggest thing we bring to raids are raw dps though, if you guys want to experiment with a killer dps group one that we use often is illusionist, coercer, bruiser, monk, zerker, inq (they have that stun toggle bloodlines spell that gives 50% haste) . end result is about 300-360dps from the 3 melees, that little group can usually zerg the adds on zalak in about 15sec.
