Advice on how to kill the named gnoll at the end of harclave

<div></div>I am looking for some contructive advice on how to kill the named gnoll at the end of harclave.  I am a level 28 Barbarian bruiser.  Here is a link to my gear. <a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=280882102" target="_blank">My gear</a>. To summarize it I am wearing all AQ, T2 crafted weapons, jewelery (odds and ends I have quested/purchased from the broker). I plan on getting an agility doll made.  My abilities are are mixture of app4 and adept1.  I have made several attempts at killing this guy.  I can make it to him without too much trouble.  I have tried taking him out first.  I have tried taking his guards out first.  either way I end up dead on the floor. What i did was first after i pulled was an intimidate on him, then switched to beating on one of the other 2 with him. when the intimidate wore off i feared him. repeated that untill the 2 were dead and it was just me and him.

<P>at 23 I had no problems killing the end gnoll, I did not even fear any of them.</P> <P>I had roughhouse up along with fiery fists</P> <P>I pulled with an axe throw on his croonies, then I go into my normal combat routine, HO, sarko hook, both kicks I have, then rapid swings, then HO again with the other action that completes the HO, then bruising hit, when i get 18% of my health nocked off I pop the self heal APP IV for me, usually when i Pop the heal i have killed at least one of the gaurds. I use the same routine one the gnoll himself, except during his casting I either shoulder smak him or taunting slap to interupt a few of his spells. I usually have to pop the heal again during the final bout with the gnoll, but I always end with about half health. All of my skills are also APP IV and a few adept I's. My gear is all at least yellow con to me, with my weapons dual wielding and orange con to me, I am mostly AGI gear with my STR gear slightly under, my AVOID with roughhouse up is 67%, my STR is over 50 and my AGI is over 60.</P>

Nice thing about being on Splitpaw server is Adept I's for bruisers are dirt cheap. The L20-30 Adepts are typically 30-50s.
