I ask because I've recently hit some hard times completing the AQ's and just bought the Monk's AQ armor (Chainweave GI) from the black market broker. Is this something my Bruiser can wear at the appropriate level? I don't see why not. Also, even though Chainweave is "white," if I can equip it, will it still be white? Or will it change to brown (like Steel Stitched) since I'm of an evil alignment? Hope I didn't make a mistake.

Message Edited by MisguidedAngel on 05-16-2005 10:58 PM

I know we can wear the Blood Soaked Gi. If thier AQ is using the brawling skill also, then yes. I would doubt you can find someone willing to give it up or hasn't attuned it yet.

There are no class locked items in the traditional sense ( yet ). With putting archetype/class/subclass specific skill requirements on stuff SOE can pretty effectively destine items to certain groups though. Just check the reqs on the Gi and you'll know if you can wear it. Tranquility is the Monk subclass skill, everything else both subclasses share.

My question is...who goes through all the trouble of AQ's 1-6 and then DOES NOT attune their GI?

If I'd had it around the time of doing the AQs, I'd probably have sold my Gi.

It also really irks me when I see two people in FG doing the same AQ I'm on, but they have no intention of actually making a group effort out of it. I mean, yeah if you can do it, it's easier to play with friends or whatever and not have to worry about keeping everybody happy.. but I'm talking like 1 or 2 in the morning when me and these 2 other guys/girls are the ONLY ones in there. Just seems kind of snobbish.
