My first "true" raid encounter, the first of many more to come hopefully. Tanked that lvl 43 nightblood in EL too and the exiled orc in zek but they are trivial for a lvl 50 tank, so this marks the first true fight.<a href="http://img109.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img109&image=eq20001426ig.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img109.exs.cx/img109/2898/eq20001426ig.th.jpg" border="0" ></a><a href="http://img109.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img109&image=eq20001431az.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img109.exs.cx/img109/7134/eq20001431az.th.jpg" border="0" ></a><a href="http://img109.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img109&image=eq20001442hl.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img109.exs.cx/img109/48/eq20001442hl.th.jpg" border="0" ></a><a href="http://img137.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img137&image=eq20001451jz.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img137.exs.cx/img137/29/eq20001451jz.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" ></a>

<DIV>Arch lich is even easier then Angler to tank as a Bruiser. It's not a melee mob <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Guber--50 Bruiser</DIV> <DIV>Crusbhone</DIV>

<DIV>Arch Liches melee is weak overall, it's the poison nuke that does the big damage and you can buff your resists up for that making it fairly easy.</DIV>

well grats, but sorry to say,the angler isnt a real "a raid mob" its a very easy lvl 50 mob. well immun to 95% of all crushing weapons but still a easy one. tanked it too at our first try, because we didnt know the mob an d our guardian get kicked into the ocean <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />lvl50/51 and some 52 mobs are easy to tank for us. lvl52 and up we still need some balacing.

I went with a tank build as a bruiser and only mob I don't think I could tank is Darathar. I've stood toe to toe with pretty much every mob but him, Venekor, and VoV. Holding aggro when you want to is never a problem, but our evasion/deflection doesn't come close to offsetting a Guardian's superior HP and mitigation on a mob that can smack you down in 2 hits, either an attack + riposte, or a very high hit + an AE, healers can't keep you up. Either way, the difference between the 2 extreme builds in DPS and HP/aggro holding seems to be roughly 15%, nothing greatly divergent. Going tank you still do good DPs but it doesn't make you a Guardian.KyrinChaotic LegionNektulos

Yah I noticed that. It may "just" be that they are changing the fact that the encounter respawns while you're still in the zone fighting/finnishing rognog, allthough the initial trigger doesn't respawn. <div></div>
