<DIV>Hi everyone,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I just started a new character and was thinking of an halfling bruiser focused on agility. Will this work or is the bruiser class based on strength and not so much on agi as the monks , should i stop dreaming or will this work?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thx in advance</DIV>

Depends how you want to play, the class is tanking class at heart and thus you'd be better off focusing on AGI because STR does not help you tank better where as AGI adds a bonus to avoidance. So, yes a halfling bruiser will work just fine.
<DIV>Talk about jumping onto a sinking ship.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Going for high AGI just got to meaning a lot less in this game.</DIV>
<DIV>I have a ratonga bruiser whose higher agility made him very hard to hit but with a trade-off of lower damage output and fewer hitpoints. Now, it is much harder to avoid damage, and I end up waiting around for someone else to be a meatshield.</DIV>

High AGI is nice (or used to be, and may be again) but you also need to concern yourself with STR and STA. STR is the defining statistic for fighters as this stat directly affects how much power you have, STA hitpoints of course.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>these kinds of threads start up all the time and they always end up with someone saying the following (which is true!) race doesn't really matter except it may be harder in the beginning. Gear will get you the stats you want regardless of what you started with.</DIV>
