<DIV>Yeah so, is it just me or is everyone still getting beat on even after they feign now and their buffs have been effectively removed? You know how when you feign and your buffs are still up- it usually signifies fd failed. Now even when I pop it 3 times in a row and my buffs drop the last time- crap still beats on me! I notice it too.
<DIV>Select the mob you are running from when you feign. make a macro that has /feign it will say your feign value and the mobs see value.</DIV>

The "my buffs are gone" meathod of checking if FD was good is flawed.Getting a successful FD has 2 parts:1) Skill check passes, aka: buffs go poof2) Mob believes you. Unlike EQ1, this isn't a given when you just pass a skill check. The higher level a mob is... the least likly it is to believe you just "plop" down and it wins.And honestly... I like it this way. The bonus of being able to get nuked and hit AFTER FD works... and it won't break FD, if you pulled it off in the middle of a mobs cast on you. If any of you are vets of EQ1... casers were the biggest issue with FD, the way its done now, its much easier.

For pets, sometimes you feign success against the master, but the pet isn't fooled, and they continue to beat on you until the master decides to move away. 'Petting Dots' such as the necro's multiple rat dots, where it's not a pet per se' but a spell effect cast upon you, seem to NEVER be fooled, and you simply have to endure through the spells duration. (Hopefully you have enough hit points to last through the pesky buggers bites.) If you get up at ANY time the pet dots are attacking you, the master emmediately agros you. (Also, the master will NOT move away until the spell wears off. Double Trouble.)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So keep these in mind.
