View Full Version : Questions for Brawler soon to become Bruiser.
<DIV>I have a few questions hopefully you guys can help me with. I was a Berserker till he was changed into a character that didn't fit my style of play anymore, and now I am on the fast track to becoming a Bruiser. I currently am using 2 of the bone fighting batons which really are nice weapons. I have cash from my zerker/alch, and also my jeweler. I'm wondering what is the next tier (3) rare bruiser dual weild weapons of choice? Is it still made by the woodworkers or by the weaponsmiths? If there is one made by both does anyone know the names of them or have the stats on each? Thanks in advance trying to catch back up to my friends as fast as possible and trying to find out the next set of weapons to get ahold of for when I get to that point. Thanks again!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Razalon</DIV>
<DIV>Oh god not another one :smileysad:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You should know the game mechanics by now just browse market and get what you like. There are pros and cons to every well made weapon.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><EM><FONT color=#999999>off topic - to all former zerkers: bruiser is a fighter - the core abilities are the same as every other fighter class - the average damage oppertunity is the same as every other fighter class - all differences are either in a few key abilities or flavor/cosmetic - please do not come to bruiser boards whining about your former class(not that the op did - but he almost did) - if you want to be bruiser because it looks fun great - if you want to be bruiser because you're trying to make some uber fighting machine that you feel you were screwed out of being a zerker then just don't even post - if you were a bad zerker then you will be a bad bruiser - if all you want is to see big shiney numbers above mobs' heads then try scout</FONT></EM></DIV>
<DIV>Glad to see your so helpful. Happy to see you took the time to add and off topic flame at me instead of giving a useful answer to my question at hand Dvt. Sad thing is I was just going to leave out the whole berserker part figuring someone like you would post a reply like you did. I wanted to play a class that did could do good damage as well as being able to tank well. The berserker is neither. I didn't mind the fact that we were the worst at tanking mobs, but when they did make them not able to dish out damage well that was it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh btw I am a bruiser now so I will come in here and post it's my forum now <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So back to the question I was asking before Dvt tried to stir stuff up.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Asking if anyone knows which player crafted dual weild weapons are made in tier 3 useable by the bruiser? Is it something made by woodworkers, or Weaponsmiths? I you do know can you let me know which one of them makes them and or the names of the weapons. I have looked at the broker, and the fence and haven't seen any. Thanks in advance and sorry that Dvt had to come in and try to start trouble in my sincere post.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Razalon</DIV>

<DIV>Its Firwood Batons, I believe. . .Tier 3 rare wood. AM I right? Woodworker would make those</DIV>
<DIV>I have one of those and it didn't need to be attuned like the bone ones did. I was told by a player that that particular one was a drop not crafted one. I can't verify that thats true or not was told from thundering steppes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> <DIV>Oh yeah forgot to answer your question... ebon quarter staffs(dropped in nek), scorched wood staff(quest in FG), and pristine fist wraps have all been my favorite weapons so far in my 20's. I've lately been a fan of a quarterstaff/fistwrap DW combo...good stats, fast damage, and looks nifty :smileywink:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've had great zerker tanks and great zerker DD's so far and would have been a warrior myself if my guild didn't need anymore - I think it's a shame that people are dropping the class as I don't think they're nerfed that bad and I don't feel that parsers are doing a good job adding up everyone's potential - six, half dozen oh well glhf. :smileyindifferent:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Thanks for the info. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I still have my zerker and use him as my alchemist (27th). He helps my jeweler (26th) out well. They both help each other grow each others tradeskill which is nice to have them both. I wanted to try out a brawler type since the game started. The berserker class just sounded alot like something I would have a blast with. I wasn't though to impressed personally with mine and then after the changes it for me was the last straw. I was going to stick it out and play him, but I really want to play what I think I would have more fun with. The brawler by far has been more fun thats all I really want. Thanks for the input all.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Razalon</DIV>
