<DIV>I'm lvl 15 now and a Brawler.  I don't know what weapons I should be using.  In addition, when I become a Bruiser I don't know weapons I should be using.  If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it.  Thanks.</DIV> <DIV>G  (-:</DIV><p>Message Edited by Bera on <span class=date_text>01-11-2005</span> <span class=time_text>05:10 PM</span>

<DIV></FONT>Willow Wood Walking Staff (2hb) at 16, sold in Qeynos market, use the fence. Best in class. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At 20 a low cost yet great FP market item is the scorched wood staff (2hb). Not sure if it is as good at 19 when you can start using it, I just picked it up at 20 (damage bonus jumps like crazy at 20 and I don't know the pre-20 damage on this one) and its the best non super rare thing out there right now, and relatively cheap to boot. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At 20 some dual wield combos will be a little under, but close enough to scorched wood staff dps if you really want to go that route. Splintering quarterstaff (18+), quarterstaff of discord (19+), your 20 bruiser given weapon, etc. Just go to a broker or your inn frequently, put in maximum skill orange (for immediate level checking), and search for 2hb, dual wield, etc.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Slade on <span class=date_text>01-12-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:47 AM</span>

<DIV>I quite enjoyed using dual nomad walking sticks up to level 19. They give a total of +8 to agility which really helps out in tanking. When I made my bruiser, my intent was to make her the best tank possible, so I have never really paid attention to dmg output. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At 22 I'm using a mace of twilight (think thats right) and the class quest reward cestus. Less agility but good dmg and other stats. With rapid swings app3 I hit for 120-160 with these.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I do need to find a good 2 hander to see how it effects my tanking <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

From 10-15 i used nothing but my bare fists ... then i realized how invaluable added agility is ... so i startign using dual nomad walk sticks up to 17. I then switched over to pristine Boiled Leather Fist Wraps (1.3spd with 3agi 2str 10HP 6PP) and used them up to 20. Now im using firwood fighting batons that are 1.7spd with +3 Str +5 Agi +16 Health +12 Power .. not ultra rare but they give amazing stats and output some nasty damage. One thing that i love so much about EQ2 is that the higher level you become, the more fun the game gets.

<DIV>Once you inch up your 20s a bit, the dropped steel maces (+5 agi each) make a fine pair (Stormhold I think, maybe FG too - or Qeynos broker).  Before those, I used splintering quarterstaves (+4 agi each from Stormhold) and am now (at 2<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> looking for dropped oakwood batons.  I have also heard cesti crafted using rare pelts come out very nice, but have yet to see one myself.  I have shunned 2H weapons because I like doubling my chances of procing and also doubling the effective attribute bonuses I get from paired weapons.  I realize I also double my chence to receive ripostes, but those seem very rare so far.</DIV>
