<DIV> <DIV>I saw last night that someone had a <STRONG>Fiery Fists Apprentice IV </STRONG>for sale so I figured Id take a trip down and purchase it to upgrade my App3 version.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I purchased the ability and scribed it. To my dismay, it did not upgrade my <STRONG>Fiery Fists AppIII to AppIV</STRONG>. Instead, it created a NEW icon in my spell book called <STRONG>Fiery Fists AppIV</STRONG>. So now, in my spellbook I have:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG>Fiery Fists Apprentice III</STRONG></DIV> <DIV><STRONG>Fiery Fists Apprentice IV</STRONG></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Both have the same icon, yet they do not share the same timer.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The problem is, the App4 version isnt even the same ability. <STRONG>Fiery Fists AppIII </STRONG>is a self fire proc for melee attacks, However, When I use the <STRONG>Fiery Fists AppIV </STRONG>, all I get is a 14 pt damage attack. 14 pts of damage at lvl 31 is pretty lame, and even moreso that I spent 60 silver on it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What I dont understand is why the ability is named the same as another ability, has the same icon, yet has a different effect and is not an upgrade.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is it intended for <STRONG>Fiery Fists AppIV </STRONG>to be an entierly new, low level, low damage spell that is only available in AppIV form and not an upgrade for <STRONG>Fiery Fists</STRONG> the proc? It would seem odd to me if this was intended. To have multiple abilities share the same names is misleading in the current system of spell/ability upgrades.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Jowaa</DIV> <DIV>31 Bruiser</DIV> <DIV>Nektulos</DIV></DIV> <P><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </P> <P><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </P><p>Message Edited by Jowaa on <span class=date_text>01-07-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:15 AM</span>
