<DIV>In the opinion of some of the more experienced people out here, what is the best artisan profession for a Bruiser to be? In regards to being useful to one's own person?</DIV>

I'm no bruiser, but I'd say if you are determined to be beneficial to your adventure side you probably only have three options: Tailor, Jeweler, or Alchemist. They are all rather self explanatory, one does your armour, another your jewels, another your spells. All can be nice if you find a rare ingredient and want to make some really nice stuff.

<DIV>I may be wrong, but my personal reasoning was that it would be best to be a crafter class that deals with consumables... since those I could make for myself on a regular basis. Staples such as armor and jewelry are probably only bought once in a while, or quested for. Hence, I was thinking Alchemist (for potions) or Provisioner (food/drink). Am I right, or totally off base?</DIV>

Potions in their current state are rather useless. The upcoming big patch is supposed to add descriptions, that however wont change the fact that their effects are in no way worth the manufacturing costs. As an Alchemist, 90% or more of your work will be the basic reagents other crafters need - if you want to go this route for the potions in particular, i would strongly advise against it.

Since lvl29 ive been soloing on a regular basis. I can take on 6 green mobs at 1 time. Problem with this was , power running out after fighting the 2nd mob, sometimes sooner. I invested in some tier 4 drink i saw going for 3gp per stack. It made a world of difference to my adventuring and hence me becoming a provisioner myself.Next time u have high quality drink in ur backpack and ur in a grp, watch as their power stays low but urs is still up there. Armor , weapons , spell and skills drop from mobs. Good Drink & Food is unique in it can only be made by a provisoner.<p>Message Edited by justfran on <span class=date_text>12-19-2004</span> <span class=time_text>08:14 AM</span>

<DIV>I was under the assumption that </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Jeweler = all post 20 scout</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Alchemist = all post 20 fighter</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sage = all post 20 mage</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think sage used to do them all but they changed it to balance out the rest of the crafting skills.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Krace</DIV>
