<DIV>Heya, fellow martial artists. Im actually a monk and not a bruiser, but Im asking this question for the both of us. My goal in starting the thread is to get the question answered by a developer.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In deflection's current state, both monks and bruisers at level 20 get a 39 point bonus in deflection. However, this does not go up again until level 27.8. Only the base goes up, but not the bonus. My questions is - Is this intentional? Is our deflection supposed to be that of a level 20 monk/bruiser for 7.8 levels? Most monks and bruisers are stating that we are having a somewhat rough time tanking compared to that of the other tanks as we progress in levels. If we were to raise 5 points in deflection every level as all other tank classes do we would probably not have any problems at all. I would please like a response on this issue by a developer because I have seen this question come up time and time again and yet remain unanswered.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Please, all monks and bruisers that would like to see this question answered - bump it until a developer responds.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U>Btw, this thread was not started to debate wether or not we could tank. THE ONLY REASON IT WAS STARTED WAS TO GET A DEVELOPER TO RESPOND TO THE ABOVE QUESTON.</U></STRONG></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Bump like this...</DIV><p>Message Edited by Huflung on <span class=date_text>12-11-2004</span> <span class=time_text>09:53 PM</span>

<DIV>You raise a good point. I've notice this as well, but didnt think anything of it. But as to try to get dev attention, dont think you should do any /bumps cause i believe thats against forum rules. Just lettin ya kno so we dont get this thread locked cause it would be nice to get some answers to this.</DIV>

<DIV>Ahhh, I wasnt aware of that. Im just noticed that if you keep a topic "hot" and at the top of the list it often brings the attention of a developer and moorgard has been known to post in the bruiser forums. I don't really know of any other way to keep it "hot" other than to keep posting in it. Thus the bump.</DIV>

I dont want to make this look like a bump...Its just my way to say "I would like to have a dev answer too" <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<DIV>*cough* Well, that's good, the more that want to know and post stating they would like to know means that this thread has a greater chance of being noticed *cough*</DIV>

<DIV>Well, Moorguard answered this question in an interview with Brawlers-Pit.com. Apparently the deflection bonus we get was never intentional. In fact, the 39 point bonus is a bug and will be fixed. If you don't belive me read for yourself -</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://www.brawlers-pit.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=41&Itemid=2" target=_blank>http://www.brawlers-pit.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=41&Itemid=2</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sad news.</DIV>
