<DIV>Going to make this short, no time, but maybe people can expand upon this for me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>First of all the <U>Group Buff Aggro</U> I think we all have been noticing when we are pulling and then FD w/ Group buffs on the Mobs aggro the next person in our group.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Second is our <U>Fist</U> have you guys been noticing deep in RE(And Obelisk + various other zones) the Evil Eyes, and some Named are immune to our fists? Thats very annoying.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lastly I think they should give Bruisers/Monks atleast one ability to make them have all around deflection (yes the back/flanking and the front.) I hate keeping the mobs infront of me for them to miss, and when they are flanking me they hurt soo much more.  The ability should be like bob and weave, in which is doesnt last that long, but we should still have this ability.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And what should be fixed for all, is the req. for items, YAY I won new armor... oh I cant use it for another 6 lvls ... (Sell to Vendor)</DIV>

I don't think either of those are bugs. Mobs are going to always attack someone if they buff up the group -- this is a good thing really, otherwise you could just chain heal and buff all the time and never have to use any tactics or strategy. It's called aggro control. I remember in the original game you had to have gloves and boots that were flagged as magic. Some mobs require that you use some sort of item to hit them with, eg you cannot hit them with bare feet or fists. Try putting on some wraps or take off your boots and see if your kicks still land, curious to see if this was implemented in a similar fashion as EQ1.

<DIV>In EQ1, Buffs did not count as aggro, unless they were buffing you while you were pulling.  So, it is RIDICULOUS to have aggro if noone is touching you.  Period.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Second, I am lvl 39, and STILL my fists are immune, and I got some good **mods 4 teh win!!1!** gloves... and nothing is labeled *Magic*  in this game.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>(Also, if you use wraps, you are not using your fists, wraps = seperate blunt wep.)</DIV><p>Message Edited by EmptySkies on <span class=date_text>12-09-2004</span> <span class=time_text>10:17 AM</span>

I was wondering about our fists not being able to hit magical creatures too but apparently I think monks/bruiser aren't supposed to use there fists as their main weapon. Who knows one day they might change it but I think they intended for us not to use our bare fists. Personally I like my staff better but I can see how a monks ki or a bruisers ? could make their fists hit magical creatures. Not like fists are to cheap to allow them to do that heh.<p>Message Edited by Sheperd_b on <span class=date_text>12-09-2004</span> <span class=time_text>01:47 PM</span>

I don't use fists only, I've found them to be too slow but if you're digging it then by all means use your fists only. So far we haven't gotten word from Sony or any of the reps as to the factual differences between using fists and using dual wield weapons.

<DIV>When Group Buffed, I SHOULD NOT have to worry that when I FD because of a bad pull that they will all come to my group.  It is absolutely absurd.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And for the EQ references... if its a totally different game you better give me more facts other than changing mana to power.  Because there is the same zone names/character statistics and level base. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>FD is useless except for solo/deaggro right now.  And that is absurd since FD should be a pulling device.</DIV>

<DIV>I think you're still hung up on EQ1 (original poster). The devs are leaning towards linked mobs as a group encounter with no way around it (AFAIK). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As far as pulling tool I think you really mean splitting tool. Anything can be a pulling tool in this new game hehe. There is no splitting tool it seems.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And stats did change. Ogres get 30 str and humans 20 at the start, vastly different from EQ1 where Ogres had huge str/sta advantages. That's one thing I dont like.</DIV>
