<DIV>Here are my favorite group setups</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Favorite group setup for me tanking: Bruiser (me), defiler, troubadour/dirge, warlock/wizard, inquisitor/coercer, shadowknight<BR>I like going with me as a tank, defiler there to do his wards, troubadour is preferred over dirge for the proc but either is fine, warlock over wizard because of proc, inquisitor for backup healing or coercer to keep me breezed, and a SK for a backup tank. All these are groups I have found to work best with bruiser tanking. <P>Favorite group setup: SK (tank), Bruiser (myself), Templar, Inquisitor, Wizard, Any of the following: Brigand/Swashbuckler/Assassin/Wizard/Warlock/Dirge.<BR>If there isn't a defiler in group, I would GLADLY give up the tanking position at 27 and beyond to a SK JUST for the SK's ward. A guardian may fill the spot just fine, but I like to group with SKs cause they do more DMG with HT. The templar/inquisitor combo kicks **mods 4 teh win!!1!**, and should be tried over two of the same subclass, such as templar/templar or inquisx2. I like a wizard in this setup just because the DDs do their part. Groups of normal MOBs (ones without + or ++) or below will fall in seconds with the combined power of sk/wiz/bruiser. To add insult to injury, and prepare for + or ++ yellows, oranges and reds, add ANY one of those classes listed. I haven't had a ranger get to my level yet, so I'll wait to try one of them in this spot. Not sure about troubadour in this situation, just seems that the Dirge is the better choice in group for once.</P> <P>Overall, I would rather not tank, just to utilize all of my abilities.</P> <P>What are your favorite groups?</P> <P>(no flames on my choice of group. These are the ones that work for me so far into the 30s.)</P></DIV>

<DIV>Brawler, Warrior, Healer (Cleric), Shaman, Sorcerer, Scout</DIV>
<DIV>You guys need to look at the buffs you get from the different priests, my 26 Fury using Adept1 Wildspirits and APP1 (no upgrade yet) Savagery can increase agility by 25+, no other priest can do this. Of course HoT may not be the healing style of choice for bruisers as tanks - but if you put a monk/bruiser in the group as the MT, a fury makes them far more capable <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That being ssaid, my favorite group setup would be...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Shaman</DIV> <DIV>Druid</DIV> <DIV>Guardian</DIV> <DIV>Brawler</DIV> <DIV>Warlock</DIV> <DIV>Coercer</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

The prefered would probably be Bruiser, Fury or Defiler, Dirge, 3x Wizard. Or Bruiser, Fury, Enchanter, Assassin, 2x wizard.Never two healers.Atleast that's close to the optimal group setups in my opinion.<p>Message Edited by Jezekiell on <span class=date_text>12-10-2004</span> <span class=time_text>03:42 PM</span>

And at 27, a SK tanks better than a guardian due to the self-ward. Maybe if you let the brawler tank in this setup, you can trade the guardian out for a zerker or something with more DPS, possibly a scout of some sort.

If you are going against something particularly tough, a second healer would come handy. That's only really worth it for some very good reward quests ( or access quests ), otherwise you are better off leaving the stuff you cant take with one ( competent ) healer for now.

Being a healer, I do not think crusaders MT better than guardians - even more so when there is a Shaman in the group (Shaman wards > Crusader wards - and they dont stack). I should probably split this list into two different groups, then it will work better depending on the situation.</P> <DIV>Shaman</DIV> <DIV>Druid</DIV> <DIV>Guardian (MT)</DIV> <DIV>Rogue (DD)</DIV> <DIV>Warlock (DD)</DIV> <DIV>Coercer (CC)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>or</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> <DIV>Shaman</DIV> <DIV>Druid</DIV> <DIV>Guardian (MT)</DIV> <DIV>Brawler (Backup Tank, DD)</DIV> <DIV>Warlock (DD)</DIV> <DIV>Wizard (DD)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Without CC, a second Fighter type is good to have incase aggro needs to be "shared", I would pick a brawler because of the ability to DD - if the shaman was a cleric I would switch in an SK for the wards.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone that says a solid group does not need two healers has never done any "hardcore" exping. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Actually for a Bruiser or a Monk, the best Priest class is a Shamon/Mystic.</DIV> <DIV>-Cleric subs wards stack better with Tank classes (AC of tank used before healing ward)</DIV> <DIV>-Shamon subs wards stack better with Bruiser/Monks because defense is calucated before dmg is done to the ward</DIV> <DIV>--Shamons have the best NPC debuffs aside from being OK healers and dmg warders.
