I gave it a shot - feels like I've completely wasted my time

I started seriously having defensive problems at about 18 - these continued al the way to 20 and manifested themselves fully in the Edgewater Drain where the level 20 assassin in group could way out tank me even with every defence buff I had up, All my gear is app3 if not adept 1 I am in all yellow gear maybe a few blue bits but still very good gear - This class cannot tank - Maybe with a shaman it can but they are wards - I would say we can tank slightly better then casters - then all scout classes are above us then all priest classes then all warrior classes - we cant tank.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Dont waste your time - I have thrown this class away - I would suggest you not start one.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Brawlers and Staggering stance help, and making sure you dont let mobs get behind you (as you cant parry/dodge those)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've seen Assassins trying to tank, and getting beat down pretty fast, its certainly not as bad as you claim. Wondering why you were trying to tank edgewater drains at 18 anyway, as even at the zonin alot of the mobs there are level 23++, even the lower level mobs are ++ and are pretty evil.</DIV>

I'm all for making bruiser stronger! ehehe. I haven't seen any big problems though. Just hit lvl 19 yesterday. I wonder how many people posting don't know that a mob with ^^ by his name is that much tougher. I didn't figure it out till like lvl 13 heh. and yes I died =(.

See what lvl your target is...I mean I have come across 2 and 3 lvl differences with the same con and color...and 3. You won't ever know what you can do till you die trying or win and get the rush of victory after a nasty fight....the first orange you solo....the first set of 5 blues you wax the floor with.....Its skill...and just like in game skills...they take time for you to master....you won't be the best bruiser on your server a week after you start playing it........give it time and go with it....No way I would say that if you havent made 20 that you gave it a shot......You don't do any sick dmg until you hit 20....at 21 imagine quading for 60+ or seeing hits for 140+ .......</DIV>

<DIV>My brother is a 42 Bruiser on the Guk server.  He has tanked for our group since about lvl 30 and we havent had any problems. Most Double Yellow cons are no problem.  His DPS is just insane compared to most any other class there is.  I have not seen any problem with this class at all. If you have any questions about the class, hes always on. His names Proh, ask him yourself.</DIV>
