<DIV>Ack! Doesn't seem worth 2 conc points if thats the case. Guess I'll wait to see if it gets adjusted at some point.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Well it works for me it highlights the damge done when it works. But it doesnt work enough. Sometimes i mix it with lightning. Both not worth the concentration. Doesnt even seam there are some mobs that are weakend by fire.

<DIV>I personally use Thundering Fists (conc. 3) and Fiery Fists (conc. 2) at same time when not the main tank. It does not work with both hands being equiped with a weapon. Try using no weapon in Primary an Fist Wraps in Secondary. A decent agility score and buff does seem to help too.</DIV>

<DIV>I almost had a heart attack when I read the message saying that Fiery fists proc'd <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I was going through a lot of weapon combo's to see what I liked and what worked. Now I am mostly using No weapon in main (fist) and the lvl 20 reward weapon in offhand, or a 2 handed bo stick. Which could explain why I noticed the proc working.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would agree though...these procs don't seem to fire enough for them to be that useful. Right now I only have 2 arts that use 2 conc, so I throw it up for the hell of it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It is called Fiery Fists being at only Apprentice, once you get it at Adept, I am sure it will go off more. </DIV>
I have it adept 1 and it doesnt really go off any more than normal (1 in 15-20 hits maybe) but the dmg per hit goes up, started out around 9-15 now it hits for 20-25 . . .yay?

<DIV>I've noticed that if i have thundering fists and firey fists running at the same time, i don't get the firey fists effect, so i simply stopped using thundering fists. I do get this effect quite often from this skill. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Other than the fact that it seems to be negated when stacked with thundering fists, it seems to be working fine to me. Hope that helps.</DIV>
<DIV>Fiery fists definitely works. I see it work quite often. The enemies body shows significan burning with fire. Perhaps the person who suggested getting an adept book is correct on the subject.</DIV>

<DIV>Works every two rounds for me. Guess its different from person to person. Adept 1 </DIV><p>Message Edited by psubullet on <span class=date_text>12-01-2004</span> <span class=time_text>04:14 AM</span>
<DIV>Works about twice per combat, using firwood fighting batons (1.5s) so they are quick. I get a lot of attacks in but very very disappointed with the number of procs. Only reason I even use this buff is solo there is nothing else to fill out the conc slots.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At least its more effective than dark agenda the ratonga trait I took. 2 min buff every 30 mins that procs about as often as Fiery Fists for 5 dmg. If you're playing a ratonga dont bother with this utterly pointless trait.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Karnak lvl 22 Ratonga Bruiser. Agility matters I dont get hit I can tank <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>I get loads of procs in combat since I got adept 1 but it only does around 12 damage, so it isnt really worth it</DIV>

Lol every race has a proc like that. I accidently picked the human domination one thinking it was going to be useful. I have heard tho that they are changing or adding or both the level abilities of races/classes and that you will be able to pick again when they do. Also I stopped using firey fists because I never saw it proc and figured it only worked with bare hands but I hear now that it starts to proc a lot more as you level up. If you right click on the skills you will see there is a skill requirment in physicality I think and it starts at 100 and goes to 150 I think. So as you raise your skill by leveling up you will start to proc more. Adept might just increase damage though. If it does work later I'll be happy if it's still worth the conc when it starts working good, if it does.<p>Message Edited by Sheperd_b on <span class=date_text>12-09-2004</span> <span class=time_text>01:59 PM</span>

<DIV>Raised it from App1, to App3 to Adept 1 today.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In the time I had it at app1, it proc'd like twice. In about 5-6 levels. What a joke. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I had app2 thundering fists, and noticed that when I use thundering fists, it proc'd more, so I upgraded to App3 on firey fists, and low and behold, it started proc'n more. Not often, but enough to see it every now and then. Found an adept book for less than I paid for the app3. Firey fist is bruiser, not brawler, so look for it on the black market. I paid about 28 silver I think. It's even better with that. It's still doesn't proc often, or do alot of damage, but it's better than nothing if you don't need those 2 conc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The sad part is, I had a dirge with me. She gave me this nice effect that had me proc for three times as much damage, about three times as often. It didn't take conc, was full party and lasted about 10 minutes.</DIV>

It does work, but the proc rate isn't that high. At Adept 1 it's "ok". You'll notice it atleast in the combat spam.

<DIV>Why would you NOT use this? The good thing about this skill is that it can proc on any attack you launch. I've had whirling blaze hit 5 goblins and fiery fists proc on every one of them for an extra 40 damage each, At 32 its damage was 20-50 each proc, so that's well worth having. It's done the same with rapid strikes, proccing on each hit. Its a great proc, and stacks with other procs. That is all with adept I still, so I'm wondering how it will act as an adept III or master</DIV>

<DIV>Its free Damage...Why would you not use it? Intervene? Please. Theres a waste of 2 conc points. It works, has the potential to stack with all my attacks so ...Its a no brainer. Its on. And depending if Im offense or Defense I fill out the other 3 conc points with Roughhouse or Brawlers stance.</DIV>

<DIV>fireyfists are nice when using ranged weapons and you proc them from afar <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>
