Do they seem supremely uncreative vs. say EQLive. And seriously, why the hell does a monk in the fighter tree get NO tanking AA type stuff? The new tree needs some serious looking into. Oh and the heal upgrade we get... do bruisers get the same thing? If so that's [Removed for Content] rediculous in pvp bcuz they already have half the timer and double the heal./rant off<div></div>

Also...through achievements including the old and new... we should be able to specialize into a tanking or offensive monk. Being the only fighter who does not have an AE taunt. How about getting one through achivements? <div></div>

<div></div>Personally I would of liked them to throw a taunt into our mele AOE upgrade for the AA that would of been well worth it.  x damage + x*n taunt plus our normal buff chance to proc the 50% proc taunt aswell.  I would of picked that up in a heart beat for my monk up to rank 5.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Jobeson on <span class=date_text>11-19-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:10 AM</span>

I guess I'm just being too envious, but I was looking into the bruiser achievements and [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] they get a skill which gives a 20% chance that each ripose will proc stoneskin which absorbs one melee hit. That sounds great vs. ours. Also, I can't believe they get 10% more to max on their heal. It already has half the timer and almost double the heal.<div></div>

Our heal is exactly the same amount, ours is just faster and self only. Regardless, all it does is make us slightly better at soloing than grouping. It's useless unless we are getting hit, while yours can be dumped on someone else. It won't make or break tanking.It used to be more, but they nerfed bruiser self heal down to the same as monk heal at around live update 13 or 19 or so. It's been a long while.The stoneskin proc is useless. You wanna know how often it goes off? Ripostes are 20% of parries.. and parry base got nerfed down, which means against higher tiered creatures we'll rarely ever parry.So it's 20% chance on something that happens 20% of the time of something that happens rarely to begin with. It's something like less than 1% of the time.. against a SOLO mob. It will never proc against an Epic.I had it in Beta... I had gone whole nights without seeing it proc when fighting high level stuff.Don't be envious of that thing. It's a "looks good on paper if you don't know math" kinda thing.<div></div>
