Before the Beta test, I kind of assumed we'd be safe to pick Quellious as our Goddess. However, I've heard a few people say that for a Monk, Rallos Zek is the one to go with. Does anyone have any info about which God would best suit the Monk class? Or is the deity system more dependant on your play style than your class.

If you also craft, check out Brell. I wanted Quellious, but the abilities just do not compliment my playstyle well. Brell gives a fair amount of tank love and also crafting benefits - I do both of these tings. I can envision my gnome monk venerating him, so it is all good. After all, there is a certain aspect of tranquility in being as solid as the immovable earth

I'd have a tough time rectifying being one of Rallos Zek's faithful, but I will admit he does grant some nice favors.

Message Edited by Bladewind on 11-06-2006 11:28 PM

There is a list of god abilities listed on the EoF forum .... heres the link <Click Here>Hope that helps. And BTW I don't think Quellious is that bad a choice, not great, but not bad, some hate reducing buffs would be good if your not main tanking.

Well, to be fair, Barbarians ARE Humans. Since Mith Marr is a huge, muscular human with a lot of facial hair and a love of Slim Jims, it's hard to tell him apart from <STRIKE>Randy Savage</STRIKE> a Barbarian. Since Barbarians were Humans that just split off into their own tribe (just as Erudites did, though they evolved a whole lot differently), and said splitting-off happened well after their creation BY the gods, I think we'd have to assume that Mith Marr is a "Human" in the most technical sense, since he - as an individual immortal being - wouldn't go through a multi-generational evolutionary process to differentiate him from other stock Humans.

Humans come after barbarians. Barbarians are in a word, ancestors of humans.

Saw the mention of Mith and thought I had a good pic, but unfortunately he's all dark and at a bad angle.

http://www.dragon-fly.net/pictures/Everquest/Recent/EQ000022.jpg

However, I did find a good pic of Sol Ro... I don't know what he IS but Dark Elf doesn't do him justice. One of the cooler mobs.

http://www.dragon-fly.net/pictures/Everquest/Recent/EQ000127.jpg

I assume in EQ2 we've never actually seen the gods? I guess there's no telling what they'll look like since the "other" eq is a paralell universe. All I know for sure is they can't do any worse for either Brell or Tunare

Don't expect to see the gods themselves anytime soon. I do believe they're remaining hidden and all we'll see at this point are their avatars.

ok this may sound redudant, but reading through this forum i got confuse. I read the link to the gods forums and dont like the effects of Quellious for DPS. SInce we are turning into DPS more then tanks what would be the best or good god to worship for max DPS as a monk that use DW fist weapons?

As a pvp monk, it's either going to be Tunare or Marr for me. Probably Marr but the roots and heals do sound nice for pvp or soloing. My question though is what gods do team exile get to follow? No god for you Kasai.
