View Full Version : Walk like Mountain

I was tanking for a few friends in Permafrost the other day, the mobs were conning yellow and orange so I was firing off Walk like Mountain in every combat to help save healing power. The problem I ran into though was when the Ranger stole aggro, or worse yet, when a healer pre-healed me and snuck aggro out from under my I was stuck in place and my taunts wouldnt reach the mobs to taunt them off. Does everyone else us Walk like Mtn? Do you have the group stay closer to you in fights? I am sure there has to be a simple sulution to the problem of being stuck and not having to turn it off everytime.

The Mountain line is absolutly worthless. Increadible mitigation boost in exchange for being stunned and forced to rely only on your two taunt spells untill it wears off.

Don't bother using it for any reason unless you use one of those potions that nullifies the stun part. Still not worth it.

There is a very simple rule that we use in our group: If you steal aggro from the tank, MOVE TO THE TANK!

Just tell your group members to follow this rule and all's well. As long as they don't steal aggro they can stand where they want to.

I use it when I solo a ^^^ mob. Or when I know I can keep agro off my duo partner (she's a warden).

On the other hand, the mit/stun one I've not found useful at all.

I use the root/mit buff while solo'ing and while tanking in most situations as you can still auto attack and mash out your CA's - the killer is the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] casting time. It's much too long.

The stun/mit buff I use sparingly - based on the situation and the confidence of my agro position - I've NEVER used it the full duration.
