What's the deal with the bruiser class and their "knockback"?Situation:Monk is tank and starts encounter, monk single and group taunts the named mob, bruiser takes aggro already a second later, monk pulls rescue on mob to re-establish aggro control, mob turns back to bruiser within a second...I asked what was going on and he said he only casted knockback master 1 and didn't taunt once. How does that work coz not even the wizard and conjuror could take aggro when it was pulled with rescue?<div></div>

The buff he cast was a very high damaging buff that will do extra damage on each CA and stun as well as knock down, and yes its very hard to keep agro from anyone using this buff.

Well, then either their knockback is overpowered or there's something wrong with rescue.Oh well, probably some bruiser showing off, coz really, you don't cast such powerful stuff within the first 5 seconds of an encounter, not when you're not MT.

<DIV>knockback is a dam proc buff that works on every combat art. its a 5 min recast but does nice burst dps. The deal with it is he needs to spam every combat art he has in 20 secs for it to be effective. Which means not only is this bruiser burning as hard as he can in offensive stance he is doing this on pull. It sounds like sinc ehe did this in the first 5 secs he wanted to do as much dps (showing off) as possible he may of even had his tuant proc on. Most dps classes who spam alal thier combatarts spells in the initial pull will pull agro. Even wizzies who try to cast thier biggest spells when you are pullign will draw agro. Assasins casting decapitate right after you taunt etc. The bruiser needed to wait a moment, and time it better. But if the mob died quickly it prolly doesnt matter anyway.  </DIV>

Yeah, that thing is basically how I <b>hold</b> aggro as a tank, lol. Great with the multi-hit AoE CAs....I'm as careful with using that CA as a wizard is with Fusion, I'm betting.<div></div>

<DIV>yet another combat art that is alot better than our equal. storming palm only lasts for 8 hits and does a max of around 200dmg</DIV>

<P>Knockback combination is the lvl 65 bruiser rune. It is not realated to our Storming palm.</P> <P>Our rune is "Dragon's breath" which is arguably not as good as Knockback combination, but let's compare comparable things.</P>
