You are unlikely to find someone who will answer this - as it is call for the nerf bat, when we as brawler have seen it too much already.I have solo'd to the last named - but doubt that you could solo him - seeing he hits like a truck. (This coming form a monk with full Excarnate, DT boots, Fabled T7 jewlery, Claymore done, both Twin Calamities and I have all end game masters except Tsunami and rumbling wurm - ad3 both. So close around 3800 mit and 8k hp self buffed, 4-5k resists in main gear and capped STR). The only classes that can solo content like that are root/snare ranged DPS folks - since they can negate the mobs damage entirely. And even then they die a lot and the fights are long and "ugly".The other thing is that I bet an equally geared, mastered, and skilled player of any class could do the same at 70. With the only exception being maybe a temp and shammy.

I would say impossible for any non rooting class as the final namer has a shed load of HP, hits like a brick **** house and nukes and AE as well. In fact he would probably be tough for casters as well due to his nukes, a warden may do it ok tho at a guess.

Im full fabled with every CA at M1 and i wouldnt even bother attempting it.

Message Edited by Illustrious on 10-04-2006 11:16 AM

Not possible...I'm not fully fabled or geared, but I know my avoidance is only 30% to last guy. Considering he hits like 1500-2500 a swing, I'd say impossible solo.Let alone last guy, surviving ring even is completely something.
Message Edited by selch on 10-04-2006 11:27 AM

Not only is it not possible to solo.... 2 monks can't duo it (with one of the monks being arguable the best geared monk on server + myself). As previously stated soloing up to him is doable, however end guy just hits like a Mac truck. So 2 monks each with Master 1 heal, Crane Flock (single best short duration offensive booster out there), Tsunami, etc... don't even get close.

ROFL! I don't even wear Excarnate anymore, except the shoulders. So....me in full fabled everything and an Inquis, same tier of gear and we barely beat him.

Solo?!?!! I highly think not.....

I know monks have some very nice stuns, stifles, and dazes that combinded right could make. It a tad easyer. I figure with EoF It will make the zone very able to be solo'ed. I solo PP on my conjuror and those are level 65 nameds with harsh stuns and im a paper conj. Already got all my high end monk masters ready. Just need like 16 more levels >_< and all this leather fabled drops will stop getting brokerd / give to anyone we can find.I think monks with the stat increases will own to become equil or better then brusiers.

Monks don't have any extra stuns, stiffles and dazes that other fighter classes don't have. Almost all melee classes have same number of control ca's , may be more.Yeah, you can solo all PP however, you will have really tough times, many failures on two mobs in PP. Keeper & Cyclops. Keeper needing very high resists which we are a bit in lack of naturally but gear and Cyclops hits like a truck till you die. I'm not saying they are impossible because possible with better gear than me, however, master spells are not enough. Personally speaking I could not solo them with legendary gear and Master spells yet. Oh and about Bruiser comment, I don't think so bright about this. Changes definitely will open more paths but not really keeps my hopes high about Bruiser-monk balance.
Message Edited by selch on 10-04-2006 10:40 PM

Before betraying monk, in full legendary with everything M1 as a bruiser I was able to solo this, Just another disparity in the classes.

May be you should try and let us know. My problem with cyclops is never being able to dodge any of his long-timer stuns and 2000-2500 serial damages coming till I was able to FD (and guess what, it fails lots of times) while my health is red without able to give any damage. Basically if I'm stunned, only thing left for me is either wait for to die or press FD to queue and wait. Even I can dodge the stunning hit, dammit, he is Bruiser PS: I have 38%'ish mitigation solo, so damage numbers are subject to change.
Message Edited by selch on 10-04-2006 11:44 PM

I've solo'd PP numerous times.

The key with Aysor is getting the right pull. He stuns right off the bat - and has the ability to do so throughout the fight. If you can get a good pull, manage to resist or shake off the stun fast enough - then you should be fine. The key is getting a good pull and a quick jump on your CA's from the start of the fight. If you don't, just FD and try again.

However, each fight that I've dropped him, I was in the red - so it's never been easy.

Think I may try nest solo... At least it did that the first time i ever did zone in kos and we almost wiped on ring. Grp FD FTW!

When I was a bruiser, I could solo it. Since going monk, haven't tried. I'll give it a whirl in a bit, i have some ideas that might work, but also might not be particularly kosher (aka. anti-stun potion on pull)

People are getting confused....the OP's question is about soloing Nest as a monk/bruiser or brawler period...not possible, as the last mob will pound the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] out of you solo...no matter what gear you have.

Soloing PP?...easy in full fabled...it's T6, it should be
