Does it matter which hand has which speed weapon? I'm used to WoW where a dual weilder puts the faster weapon in the main hand to make their skills work faster.

Weapons don't affect your skill recharges and damage in this game. Generally though you want to put either your highest damage or best procing weapon in the primary so that you will get the most out of your tsunamis and repostes

The short answer: No. It doesn't. Dual Wield doesn't work like it did in EQlive where your primary swing triggered a chance for your offhand weapon to attack so you needed faster weapons in your primary to trigger the dual wield skill more often.

However,a.) Only main weapon procs armor / ring etc. procs...b.) Off-hand weapon only procs if it has proc on it, does not trigger other procs.Considering the general opinion about "slower" weapons tend to proc more frequent...I say, it would be better to get slower weapon to primary to have better chance on proc chances on other equipment.(I may be wrong, but that's what I assume)On the other hand, faster weapon might do more rolls on equipment procs, so might have more chance to get it...Still confusing I say.. Guess best to play for fun
Message Edited by selch on 09-26-2006 08:25 PM
