Hard to believe if there is any "single class only" guilds. However, we are kind of guild in our ww channel.

It was 4 monks. Basically, whenever it got too painful for one monk, he would feign. But that's ok, because its nothing but monks. One has to wonder how well that would work in a raid. If the stuns affected epic targets, the monks would be unstoppable. There would be so little dying too. Hehe.</FONT></P></BLOCKQUOTE><BR>

I always three box.  Always play the same class (except for my Troubadour/two Dirge combo).I love single class, or single archtype guilds.  Not all classes/archtypes work well for guilds, but most people are just so stuck in the Tank, Healer, DPS mentality that they ignore the effectiveness of concentrating on strengths.Priests can do it.  Necro's can do it.  Maybe Shadowknights.  Monks sound reasonable to me.  Paladins shouldnt have a problem.I do think some amount of healing is essential.  I would also say Rezes are important for any raiding.Think I need to break out my baby Bruisers tonight.Mal<div></div>

<DIV>Perhaps it is time to start an all monk guild, and see how we do raiding. Or at least get a few of us together for a raid.</DIV>

<DIV>One-class guilds are not a new thing, they've been around a while now and through many different games.  They can work.  You have to think outside of the box and the norm, and not limit yourself to the thinking that groups and raids must be exclusive to guild members only.  I'm proud to say that many many years ago back on EQ1 I played in a VERY well run and I would dare to say well respected guild of all-rogues.  It was a good portion of roleplay mixed in with the notion of a.)training young rogues and b.)assembling the server's best of the best of the class.  Young rogues were helped with the good quests, rights of passage quests and items and the basics of poisons.  The more experienced members were some of the best rogues around and people would come looking for us for groups and fill-ins for raids.  We even hosted a raid or two ourselves, picked some good friends from other guilds of the other various "needed classes", then filled in the rest of the groups with more and more rogues.  Was actually the funnest raids I can say I ever attended.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've also been in a couple monk-only guilds in EQ1 and EQOA.  Both were well run and fun, just didn't have the same success as my first guild.</DIV>

<DIV>I would support you on the all-monk guild. How many people do we need?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm returning to the game after being gone for a while and I have decided to go Monk this time around.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
