Dragon's Breath

<DIV>Is it just me or is Dragon's breath bugged ?</DIV> <DIV>I used it continuously last night and it never landed : the recast timer stats ticking (which mean the spell was not outright resisted I believe) the animation shows, but the buff icon doesn't appear in my maintain window (like lunging cobra and the dot do) and there is no effect on the mob. I tried it on all the mobs in Sol Eye (was going down to naggy for a few guildies) Octagorgone (again for a guildie) and FP in TS (I'm on PvP server ... and still wondering why all these level 70 FP where there ... oh well they're dead)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hope I just wasn't looking right ... I'll check again tonight</DIV>

Just used it, seems fine to me, however, if mobs having too much heat resists / or heat immunity , they can outright resist it.

<P>I checked it again last night</P> <P>It does tick, but it doesn't show in my maintained spell window like lunging cobra does (or dragon's breath used to do I believe) therefor I don't see it's timer.</P>

It shows as icon on the mobs you cast it on though, and it works like a charm. I was fortunate enough to get the master I version of it and it does some sweet dps. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

You won't get an icon in the maintained window because a different icon would be needed for each MOB harmed by it.  It's a PBAE, not an Encounter AE, so the DOT will keep burning even if the f___er manages to kill you<div></div>

<P>Well I believe I get the stiffle icon for every mob hit by my PBAoE stiffle + deagrro on my fury ... but I haven't played it in a while so I'm not sure</P> <P>It wouldn't bother me to have an icon for every mob affected, having no icon make it impossible to disable in case of a mez/fear/root.<BR>But it's not such a big problem that's true, the fact that it does tick is what matters most <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

you will get blue dragon icon on the mob you cast it on but it goes away very quickly and can also be resisted by one mob in the encounter while hitting all the rest so keep that in mind.<div></div>
