<DIV> I recently rolled a monk after playing scout classes and overall I'm having much more fun and can hold my own even when a yellow scout gets the jump on me. I only wish I had a way to slow down runners.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> So I just hit 24 and I'm about to get my second AA point (first to be placed in one of the abilities) and I was wondering what line to start on. I was thinking stamina (more health is always good) and was told that agility isn't all it's cracked up to be, something about how many agi points it takes to make a difference.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> Other people say int line for the crit chance but those crit % are well into the line so what benefit does it give me in the beginning?</DIV>

Cheap back shots about 5 points into the line.

<P>I'm wondering about this too. My Monk is now 52. </P> <P>So far I have 5 in STR and 5 in STA lines. I got to thinking whether or not is is more beneficial to put all the points into one first, then the other, or do both at the same time.</P>

I think I'm going to start on stamina and decide what to do later (respec or just start adding points in another line). At least with STA I get a small benefit immediately whereas with INT I don't see where it will help at all until the 5th point so those first 4 are wasted when they could be put to better use immediately. Unless INT has a role for Monk I'm not aware of or no one ever mentioned.

At the beginning, its hard to decide. If you have a long term plan and dont mind wasting respecs later on, i would probably start in stamina until you have at least 9 points(to get into the third line) The stamina debuff and health is nice at the beginning. Once you get more, i would suggest(if you are going purely for pvp) to have either 4-4-8-4-1 Int(very nice for melee classes that you have problems with)4-4-8-4-1 Str(nice for healers because of the burst dps you can do)These are nice for pvp because they give you a big leap in damage to take down classes that you have probelms with.Int is nice because it is always on and passive, on the bad side, the needing to be at 30% is kind of risky because you are chancing getting 1shotedSTr is nice because there is no risk but only once every 15 minutes. But until you get about 25 points, i would do stamina line.<div></div>
