Just dinging 60 on my monk as well..if you have Kingdom of the Sky...go to Tenebrous Tangle and jump off the waterfall. Get all the quests you can..then you can do the "basket" quests up on top of the waterfall if you havent been doing these before. Also you can head to Barren Sky..Whisperwind Isle I belive it is....run up the hill and start doing the Owl language quests. As far as weapons..no clue seeing I went down the STR AA line where I dont use weapons. Disregard this if you dont have KOS
Message Edited by trin kahl on 08-25-2006 01:02 PM

Best mitigation you can get at this level easily.Legs Zhardiz Leggings(Councelor Zhardiz, The Nest of the Great Egg), also often available. Some weapons can be had here also if you craft.Helm Hooluks eventually, really for a quested item this approches fabled quality in some ways, looks great to.For the rest crafted rare is ok, although cheaper usually available choices are Boots of bashing, Mitts of the Restrainer, and hardened arm wraps, giving ok mitigation and good avoidence.Add in some jewelry, chitin rings, light and/or dark chitin rings also from the Den, good mitigation add and avoidence/resists. As a plus the Den also drops an ok bo staff, although it is so often and cheaply avaiable on the broker you don't need to go in there just for it.Place to go, one of the most important starting places is the Sanctum of the Scaleborn. Fast experience, great AA due to the many discoveries and named in there, and a lot of quests with ok items, good AA, and some interesting quest and named items (for instance, see the jail room a floor down for mitts of the restrainer guy plus the many quests there). You also want to start the "Claymore" lines of quests which start in your home city, in Qeynos some guy in a hidden room in a bar starts it. This loooooong series of quests gives you some items of legendary or even very near fabled quality as you get farthur along in it, and some ok items meanwhile. For instance, after two very long quests that end the Sanctum of Scaleborn line you get a legendary quality breastplate that is as good as it gets non raiding, go a bit farthur into the Barren Sky quests, and with two relativly small epic x2 raids (two groups) that are not too hard, raid wise, you can get fabled quality legs. Add in the other items you get just before that in the Barren Sky versions of the Claymore series with an earring and a belt both of which give about 142 mitigation as well as other things and you will be doing quite well armor and resists wise (you should be able to reach 3000 mitigation at least). For weapons there are two choices. One is unarmed if you can get say at least 15 AA points for 6 in relentless punches, get to 8 in that and you are about fabled damage wise. But thats AA and there is a lot of info about that in these forums. Also, one quest in Sanctum (jail room related) gives a decent fist weapon, as does a Barren Sky Claymore one, giving you two rated about 53 fist weapons. You probably won't be able to do those right away though, but experience from Scaleborn groups is quite fast so you want to know about it, plus some quests in there also give ok fist weapons you can use till you get those two really good ones.
