I just created my first monk that I intend spending alot of playing time with, but something is bugging me. I really like the newbie monk armor (Gi I believe it's called), and I thought it was really cool when I started filling out my gear slots and it didn't put those out of place armor textures on my char. But then when I had to change my chest slot to something more useful, it turned my monk into a Ranger look-alike. I just put my newbie gear back on and kept playing, but I can't wear it for too long without it having a major effect on combat performance. I searched the broker for Gi's, but only one was listed for 1P (Blood Drenched Gi). I wish I could just toggle off my other armor and keep my newbie look, but then most of the monks would look the same. Where can I get some nice looking monk gear. Please don't tell me I have to join a hard core raiding guild and spend enormous amounts of time just to look like nice. Any help would be appreciated. Ashanar Permafrost
Check out the stickied "Got Gi?" thread. It's got pictures of most of the available gi's in game, and tells you where and how to find them. They are a big pain in the butt to find most of the time, but I would reccomend not buying them on the broker. People tend to take advantage of the fact that they are harder to come across and therefore charge ridiculous prices. I have to admit though, I broke down and bought a Rujarkian Woven Gi for my monk alt for 90g. *hangs head in shame*

Actually hardcore raiding will just get u patched up in all the colours of the rainbow, like a colorpuzzle with nothing matching. (Unless u get a full set of relic) But Gi's are the way to go usually. Cant remember where they all come from but there's somewhere a thread about all the gi's with ss, look that up. The Blissfull Gi in the caves is a good second Gi for lowbe monks. It is gives a nice +6 str stat and can be worn into your 20s.<div></div>
