Are there any monk weapons that do piercing damage? I have found plenty of crushing skill weapons and a few slashing skill weapons but none that require piercing skill. Since piercing skill shows up as one of the monk's abilities, is there any way to raise it up?

There is only one "trash" drop "Awakened Spear" or something and I guess L60+ one, one handed, with zero stats (I mean merchant loot)Beside that I don't know any piercing weapon till Level 70 except Fabled Weapons (such as Twin Calamities etc.)Yes, there are "piercing" damage weapons for lower tiers however they use Crushing skills.

There is a solo quest line that ends in the bonemire and the reward is a pair (yes TWO) dual-wield piercing weapons. They are only mediocre though, except against ravasects, where they proc damage with each hit. I used them to up my piercing skill, since they're the first actual piercing weapons I ever had in my monkly life. The name of the quest/weapons escapes me at the moment though -- sorry.

The Knuckles of Kranz used to be piercing, it was the only piercing T7-weapon I could find on the broker. But they've changed it into crushing damage now, by accident maybe...

I get the "YOU try to pierce an Evol conscript, but miss." message a lot.Alas, I can't find anything at 40 to increase my slashing or piercing. (I regret getting rid of the claw I had in my teens and 20s for slashing).

Well, you could always get a fulginate/ebon claw/katar. Unless it's changed recently, claws use slashing skill.

I have both twin calamities and my pierce is maxed out, so are my slash and crush skills.

Some weapons use the crush skill, but do another type of damage. Some of these you'll get skill ups on and others you won't. SoE can't seem to make up their mind on itemization. Oh, and by the way this is the worst itemized game I've yet to play. The armor graphics blow and even the class hats are kind of crappy. Probably took them a year to do the hats so dont expect any changes to the brawler weapons mess any time soon.

best way to up your pierce skill is what I did.

take the awakened spear (the vendor crap)

get naked and in defensive stance for minimum damage.

duel a conj or necro friend

get up behind his tank pet and go auto attack on it.

both goes afk and goes to bed or work or something.

when you get back your piercing is maxed :smileyvery-happy:

The Twin Calamaties is Peircing, Fabled drop from Labs.
