Would like to ask you fellow Monks if you have noticed a change in how Tsunami works?

The reason I am asking this is; In a raid I have a 70 monk that I use to Pull Mobs with back to the MT. I use Tsunami adpt 3 and it works well on blue mobs however If I use it on a 70+ Mob It almost always fails now and I get hit for 3-4 K damage. This change has been recent as It use to work all the time.

Have they changed Tsunami to Match a monks normal avoidance? meaning If a monks avoidance is at 80% this means he will avoid 80% of attacks from a even con mob but not on a higher Level mob. With Tsunami you would avoid 100% of an even con Mob and not on a Higher level mob.

I have not seen any posted changes on this, and was wondering if any other monks have had this happen.

Thanks

There's a disscusion about how tsunami has "changed" here http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=6&message.id=35505

Not sure if that really answers your question, but people are noticing that it doesn't quite work the same as it used to since the last LU

Tsunami was not changed. The change is that you will not riposte when not engaged in combat. Chances are you were body pulling and not engaged when tsunami failed you since the last LU.

This change was put in because players were complaining that ripostes were dragging them into combat while they trained through areas to get places.

Message Edited by Bladewind on 07-28-2006 09:36 AM
