so ive been reading more about monks recently, thinking of starting my lvl 21 monk up back again ive read that the best DPS aa line is 4-4-8 in Str, Sta, and Int. sounds good and everything, but then i read the 3rd in line for the strength line "caster will double attack on __% of attacks" sweet "if primary slot is empty if secondary slot is empty" can someone explain to me how this possibly helps people get dps? i cant assume that people actually go with bare hands, so how does this help our dps??? <div></div>

I am currently 4,4,8 str 4,4,3 sta 4,4,8 intOn raids with maxed str I do 750-850 dps on single mob encounters very easily. (with a crappy group setup)With a nice group I can parse 800+ easily every fight. My highest current single encounter raid parse for dps has been 923.** I do not know the exact numbers as to how much the dmg rating is on bare hands, or their delay (I would geuss 2.5-3.0 on delay), but I do know I dps nicely with the above setup.I have been using 4,4,8 on str since level 40 something, and I always did more dmg than people with crafted or fabled weapons for that tier.<div></div>

<DIV>bare fists are aproxamately as good as either a handcrafted or store-bought 2h weapon of the tier.  This means, that without the str line, your damage will... SUCK... but with the str line, it gets you double-attacking with a 2her... so basically dual wielding 2hers, no matter how crappy they may be, that is still good.  At level 70, with the str line, it is aproximately as if you are wielding two 60 damage rating weapons.  This is as good as the average fabled weapon of the tier, tho there are better out there.</DIV>

Last night I parsed a 900 dps on mistbound sentry in halls (one of the single mob encounter ones)I hope my SS key is still bound to PrtScn key (if not I dont have an SS, but if so I do) and I could post an SS here if you would like.<div></div>

<DIV>I'm at a loss at how you had 4/4/8 at 40 something. I'm 44 have explored every zone but deep lavastorm, did all the languages I could, few heritage quests, all the sky zones explored and I am sitting at a measly level 9 achievement. I wanted to do unarmed by now, alas it hasn't happened.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>=(</DIV>

Collection quests. From level 30 till 62 I did not upgrade anything, everything I had was from drops, instead of upgrades I spent my money on collection quests.I am currently sitting @ 44 and 25%  (I just hit level 70 20 days ago today, and I have no grinded a single day, in the past 20 days I have dinged ~11 or 12 aa, from raid mobs, adventure pack)<div></div>
