SK VS Monk in PVP

I am a 61 SK on Nagafen.  I am probably 2 - 3 infamy kills away from Master.  I duo 100% of the time so I have never had an encounter with a Monk even con 1 VS 1.  Obviously I have fought many Monks but I have never squared up one on one.  I just wanted to get a Monks perspective on the two classes (PVP related).  Any insight would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.<div></div>

<P>Monk gets a very cool class ability called "Tsunami" basically an I win button against other melee on top of that he gets a ward against magic attacks - plus hes going to stun you/stifle you to death.</P> <P>As the poster above said if you can't get you HT off - your dead.</P> <P>The Monk is a very very potent pvp class.</P> <P> </P>

Not sure about PvP, but in PvE I own most monks =D WITHOUT HT ty =D. Our melee DPS as a SK isn't that much of our DPS, we're casting tanks in case you forgot <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I think there is a huge difference between PVE fighting and PVP.  Maybe I am wrong but I don't think so.  Brigands are killing machines in PVP.  My duo partner is a Brigand.  We go into the Arena and I undeniably own him.  I would beat him 100 percent of the time if we squared up.   Now if we were in the wild of PVP I am not sure I could do that as an SK.  Kind of weird huh?

62 pvp monk here. Imho, an Sk vs a Monk will be a very close fight depending on the skills of each player. Both classes are well suited to kill one another.
