Should I be purchasing Indium throwing weapons for the extra damage? Or is it truely insignificant for the 4 or so tosses I get before the monster comes within melee range?

That's what I figured. But it was a fun idea to entertain when I noticed that double attack worked with ranged weapons. (The only reason why I'm able to get 4 hits in)

Message Edited by BenYitzhak on 05-31-2006 03:33 AM

There are times when you might want to consider having the right level ammo. I use it occasionally when I am involved in a raid fight where the mobs has a nasty dot aoe etc........ and we are a bit shy on healers. If I can be out of range of the dots aoe barrage rampage etc...... then this might allow the healer to focus in more on the main tank. I do not like to rely on this all the time but it is nice to be able to do this in a pinch.

About the only mob I can think of where you might want good ammo is Talendor.

And possibly corsolander if you don't have a slow weapon and good resists.

Other than that get your resists in shape and just beat down through the AE's.

Grouping and Soloing, there really is no point to the higher level ammo for us.

Regards,

Croaker

I'm on the Venekor server and since we dont have any other ranged attacks,I'd say high damage weapons are a must have for killing that fleeing freeporter.

Heh i've seen monks with str line out dmg ranged attackers on corsolander, and they take less dmg from the melee stomp.

About the only mob I can think of where you might want good ammo is Talendor.

And possibly corsolander if you don't have a slow weapon and good resists.

Other than that get your resists in shape and just beat down through the AE's.

Grouping and Soloing, there really is no point to the higher level ammo for us.

Also very good for Sharti i think it is, final boss in aoa x2. They are def worth the minor cost. I do swear I hit harder with throwing hammers then the shurikens though. I avg about 400-700 per hit as well. But if your Str build, you should definatly use them.
