<DIV>I've recently started playing again for first time since beta. Playing a Monk and enjopying it. Not many folks about to group with, though.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Got an account set up for my wife - which would be better duo for a Monk, in folks opinion, a Dirge or a Troubador (she plays Bards mostly). Also, I'll play two box sometimes, the Monk with the Bard.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P> </P> <P>I would go with Dirge since they mostly buff melee classes.  Troub buffs tend to favor caster classes.</P>

Dirge is best for grouping with any melee class. <div></div>

Dirge would be best.Troubs buff defense which can be maxed eaiser and that doesnt add as mcuh avoidance.Dirges buff parry which is harder to max and adds more avoidance per point.Troubs buff procs that can proc of spells.Dirges procs go off melee. From what I've seen, dirges are slightly more offensive and in a duo/two box situation, the most dps you can get the better.<div></div>

dirge get a decent heal, dps buff, mana regen buff, parry buff str buff agil buff,  Stoneskin (procs to asorb 1 melee attack), haste/mitigation/agil/defense/dps debuffsCacophony of blades which just rocks for monks =)I love dirges! Don't leave home without one.<div></div>
