Hey all, got a dilema to figure out and wondered if I could get some feedback from more experienced monks then myself. The prob is that I have my level 64 master 2 choice slowly approaching and initially I had planned on going with the group taunt as my upgrade. Lately on the broker I have seen Challenge for sale for decent prices as well as Centipede (which would have been my second choice). If i purchase those then that frees up my master 2 choice for the aoe attack. Question is whether or not the difference between Challenge m2 and m1 is significant enough that I should go with it rather then have a total of 3 master spells out of the deal. I plan on tankin quite a bit with my monk or possibly main assist in T7 zones in the future. Any and all feedback is welcome thanks in advance

Smoke

Everfrost

LOL! You do have a dilemna my friend! I'm on EF server to and there are a ton of M1 Centipedes and Challenges. However, you have specified your desire to tank, and any experienced monk knows that group agro is our downfall.

However...since the M1 spells are both cheap...the aoe might be the best of both worlds for you...increased group dps AND a group hate builder. Seems to me, with our market on EF atm, that is your best choice imo.....good luck

Slapp

70 Monk

Heroes Fate

Grobberfrost

Ya man, that's what i thought. I figured the aoe would help build some intitial hate to the group after the taunt (long as it's clear anyway). The other choice just seemed stupid to pick (at least for what i was wanting). Plus i've never seen the aoe master up yet. Thanks for the quick feedback bro

Smoke

Everfrost

For what it is worth ... I actually just respeced when I came across the M1 of challenge, taking the M2 AOE attack. Difference between M1 and M2 is only about 30 hate with no difference in resistability. I figured the difference wasn't all that big (less than 3% on average), and the AOE added to my utility in situations where I am not tanking (raids). Even solo, I can now hit for over 1k with the AOE when i crit.

3 master 1s > 1 master 2.

Ya, you guys seem to be going down the same road that I was thinking on this. I wasn't sure what the hate difference between the m1 and m2 was though but 30 is a joke. i'll roll with that for sure. Thanks for the info all
