<div>Hi Monks,</div><div> </div><div>Duelled many Beserkers? All I can say is ouch! Just looking to see if there is anything I'm forgetting. So far I've managed to win once out of seven fights! (and only when one of his cool downs - 30 mins refresh - was not available).</div><div> </div><div>Basically I seem to do best in offensive stance, haste is at 86% when I'm like that. I have full T6 crafted and around 5k HPs.</div><div> </div><div>One of the keys is when I put on Tsunami, so far I've tried putting it on at the start of the fight, and also half way through - I guess it depends when he tends to do most damage so I can reposte.</div><div> </div><div>I'm also 'pulling' him at the start with the Mantis line (AA - STA reducer & damage) and using the heal when my CAs are in refresh.</div><div> </div><div>I'm using a pair of imbued T6 cestii.</div><div> </div><div>When I knock him down / stun I try and move round the back...</div><div> </div><div>Any other thoughts??</div>

use your spider stance, lead off with a silencing palm (stiffle attack) then hit tsunami, see if you can get both your hex dolls on, or the mit debuff at least, then icy talon to give him a little shock there (they love the big numbers from that one <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ) then go for your defense debuff attack (too early to remember names) followed by your DoT.If you can get all this in quick enough, you should have reduced his armor, and got an annoying dot on him. Then just keep the stuns going, run in, stun, drop back with a ranged attack, then repeat. You shouldn't really be struggling all that much though :/<div></div>

wanna see an effort in futility? let the berserker use a shield, and go defensive. then try and kill him. His reactives will kill you before you get him below 80%It's a bit better with a 2h. but a good berserker? very very hard. especially with the aa's that give them like 78% chance to dbl attack with buckler + 1 hand.<div></div>

That's taramount to saying Guardians should raid tank naked, it just ain't gonna happen lol Sorry, wasn't a criticism, just that a Zerker not using a two hand or DW is too alien to even contemplate. Poeple don't choose zerkers to tank (not that they can't or that they turn their nose up at it) they are there to be a nutzoid platewearing swordchopping freak of nature. Of course AA's change that slightly now, lol just the other day when I was on my pally a Zerker friend asked me whether her gear was okay for tanking, at 60! BAHAHAHA

<div>You shouldn't scoff. Our highest DPS zerker has switched to using 1h+buckler and can basically hit 900-2k+ dps whenever he wants. Our other zerker is respecing his AA's to 1h+buckler. Our Guardians are all respecing to 1h+buckler. The increase in DPS far outweighs the extremely small avoidance loss.</div><div> </div><div>At this point if you are a warrior. Uh, why in the world would you even consider DW or 2H if you want to do DPS?</div><div> </div><div>Regards,</div><div>Croaker</div>

<div></div><p>At anytime, eyes closed a "crafted armor" zerker can easily own a "legendary armor" monk.</p><p>Don't believe me? Roll a zerker and see for yourself.</p><p> </p><p> </p>

<div>Heh, yeah, so as a long time monk, you don't need to hit with him to level cap.</div><div> </div><div>I would say, just play zerker till level 10, and roll a new monk to level 10 , just compare them after <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div>

Much better aggro control, especially with multiple mobs. Not sure why people think that berserkers are crappy tanks.</span><div></div>
